7 Best Couples In Square Enix Games

Steam game with 'very positive' reviews is free to claim right now, new pokemon scarlet and violet limited-time distribution announced.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is a massive action role-playing video game released in 2019 and has a huge fan-base and audience. It is set in Washington, D.C. and it revolves around the aftermath of "Green Poison", a genetically engineered virus.

There's a lot of content in  Division 2 to go over, and there are extension packs to purchase after that, so players rarely get bored with it. Some assignments in the game are classified, and these contain clues as to what really happened in Washington D.C. before the virus. These classified assignments revolve around the collectibles found throughout the level, so players should be aware.

8 National Bond Armory

In the back corner of the lobby ground floor, players will find the Orders From Corporate collectible. Moving on, if players shoot the yellow electrical box above the Security Office door, it will open the Administration office upstairs, where they can find the Hotdog Backpack Trophy . Inside the Security Office, through the body scanner is the Logistics collectible.

Then progressing further, inside the vault area, there's a decontamination room on the right. If players shoot the lock, the Opportunities collectible is inside. And lastly, in the final room of the level, on the left side is a locked office, and on the same wall is another yellow electrical box. When players shoot the box, the office door opens, and inside is the Exit Plan collectible.

7 Nelson Theatre Hostages

Forcing open the elevator door in the hallway will lead to the stage. Here, players will find the Briefing collectible. Turning on the generator found at the left of the elevator will lead to collectibles Holding and the Donut Backpack Trophy .

Before progressing to the backstage area, there's a locked bathroom near the elevator. Shooting the lock will lead to the Barricade collectible. After defeating the boss on the theatre balcony, players need to progress across the room on the opposite side of the balcony and collect the Hostile Takeover collectible.

6 Central Aquarium

The five collectibles in the Central Aquarium are a little more complicated to obtain. On the second floor, there's a bench to the left next to the elevator, that's where players can find the Tough Calls collectible, near the Behind the Scenes sign. After that, down the stairs is the lab area. Entering the first lab, players will see a second door. Shooting the lock will open the door, and on the table will be the Pools collectible.

RELATED: Division 2: 10 Must-Have Perks For New Agents (& How To Use Them)

In the same room, there's a body of a Hyena in the corner, looting that will give the players the Upper Lab Key. Players then should head into the Ozone Chamber, and above is an office. Shooting the yellow power box will give access. In the lower corner of the floor, there's a chained area, with a staircase. The Fish Fry collectible is found on the bottom stairs. Up the stairs, and on the next level is the office where players can reach the Sushi Backpack Trophy . The last collectible, Options , is inside the room where the player rescues the civilians on a bar.

5 NSA Site B13

First, players should turn on the Generator, which is part of the main mission. Heading back to the Data Center, inside the Conference Room on the left, and into the Communal Area, they will find the Erica Gonzales Recording 42 collectible next to a laptop. The next collectible, the Ivan Grekov Recording 2 , is inside Room 2 on a chair.

Going into the Data Analysis room, the Gordon Amherst Recording 118 collectible can be obtained by a keycard Level 7. After rebooting the servers and defeating the enemy, players should make their way to the left of the server reboot room, and climb the rocks. Along the path will be a fan. Shooting it will stop it, so players can climb into the fan area and reach the Commanding Officer Room. Here they will find the Ice Cream Cone Backpack Trophy .

Before the passenger terminal is a building with an ad on it that reads "See the capital by boat", and the building has a locked fence area. Players can easily shoot the lock off and head inside to grab the Skimming collectible. On the balcony area outside the bar, players will see the offices across the room. Shooting the power circuit there is needed to access a collectible later. Back in the passenger terminal, players should look for the Most 24 shop. The key to the shop is on the floor above, inside the bar. Accessing the shop, players will find the Promise collectible. At one point, players will raise the shutters to open up the passenger terminal. In the top right of this room, there's an office where a lot of spiders spawn. Unfortunately, the Fair collectible is found in this room.

RELATED: The Division 2: 10 Useful Skill Combos

Heading into the warehouse, there's a room called Administration. On the wall, there's a camera with the sign "Smile and Wave You're on Camera". Players should use the wave emote, then head back to the office under the already shot electrical box. There's the active computer, and with that players can open the Administration door. Inside the room, they should grab the Door Cose, and with that, open the Boat Storage. Finally, they will see the Inflation collectible. The next collectible, Value , is found above the mission exit in the Boat Warehouse, resting on a chair. For the last collectible, players will need that shot electrical box mentioned earlier. Looking up in the Boat Storage room, there's a rope that players can shoot down. After going up the rope, players should follow the wooden catwalk until reaching an office. Heading through the offices, in a window will be the Ice Cream Cone Backpack Trophy .

The Embassy assignment has five collectibles. To obtain the first one, players have to head into the Ambassadorial quarters, where an enemy will come out of a washroom. Going through that washroom into a room, players will find the Policy collectible on the dresser. As players progress through the Atrium, they'll reach the Archives. Going into the Archives and looking back and up, they'll see a pair of doors above. Here, they can shoot the locks from the inside, and then get back, and up the stairs to go inside and reach the Family collectible.

RELATED: Division 2: Everything You Need To Know About The Technician Skill Tree

During the helicopter scene, a hole will blow open on the ground floor of the Atrium. Inside this hole is the Activated collectible. In the same location, players can find a key card, that will give access to the locked door in the Embassy. The Hoodie collectible is in that room. In the same room, there's a set of double doors. In this room, payers have to force open the elevator, head up the elevator shaft and throw a grenade through the slot in the glass to open the door. Through this door is the Muffin Backpack Trophy .

2 Nightclub

Right at the entrance, on the left, players will see an elevator. Forcing open the door will lead to the Spice Effects collectible. In the Brass Room, there's a room behind the bar. Shooting the lock will open the door, and the Spice Productions  collectible will be found in this room. The Agent Activation collectible is in the Gold Lounge. There's a dead person named Johnny next to the neon lights in the Silver Lounge. He has the Control Booth key that the players will need to enter the Silver Lounge's control booth, where the OD Call collectible is found. Players have to turn on the generator here. After completing the level, they have to go to the control room, but before heading to the Staff Only door, they'll need to shoot the power box to the left. Inside the control room, players can open the Security Room nearby, where they'll find the Are We Rogue collectible.

Obtaining the Burger Backpack Trophy is very complex. Players need to learn a four-part code throughout the assignment that they'll have to input in the Security Room at the end of the level. The first code piece is on the top floor of the lobby area. Turning on the generator, players will see chords of light. They should make a note of the light number (1-4). After that, players need to hit the wood on the right side to see a symbol and take a note of that as well. In the hallway towards the Gold Lounge is a storage room on the left. Inside the storage room is another generator, and using a flashlight players can reveal the symbol. They have to take note of the lights and the symbol as well. Players have to do the same thing with the Silver Lounge generator, and in the Geode Room on the DJ stage. Here, players have to interact with the turntable to see the symbol on the left and turn on the generator for the lights. Now that that's done, players have to head up the stairs and shoot the electrical box. Through the Staff Only door, and past the Level Exit in the control room. Shooting the lock on the door will open it, and players have to input the codes in the Security Room, and a door will open. Heading back to the beginning of the level, players will receive the Burger Backpack Trophy.

1 Detention Center

To obtain the five collectibles in the Detention Center, players have to enter the locked cell in the Laundry Room. This can be done by shooting the power box on the wall. Next to the red laundry basket is the Mass Arrests collectible. By the entrance to the Gym, there's a locker next to the vending machines. Inside the locker, players will find the key to the Visitation Room. Inside, on the desk is the Prison Outbreak collectible. The NSA Wiretap collectible is found inside the guard tower of Cellblock B, on the desk.

Players then need to go to the guard tower of Cellblock A, on the second floor. Shooting the powerbox through the window will help access the NSA Interrogation  collectible. Using the keypad in the guard tower of Cellblock B, players can open the cell doors. In cell B40, there's a hole in the wall. Following the catwalk, players will get to the generator. On the left, they can shoot the pipes to close, then heading back to the generator, players will see cords. They'll have to shoot the circuit, and that will open another generator room. Taking the fuse out, players can put it into the fenced-in generator and drain the water. They'll see a now accessible ladder and can head through the sewer area to reach the Fries Backpack Trophy .

Game tutorial

Once the assignment becomes available on the map, players need to make their way to the highlighted area. Once there, players must locate the entrance for the assignment. The entrance will have a glitched AR overlay on top of the door, similar to the overlay found in front of the entrance to main missions. Once the door is located and scanned, the glitch effect will disappear and the mission becomes available to play, as well as unlocking matchmaking and a fast travel point. With the exception of the first Classified Assignment (National Bond Armory), all Classified Assignments require level 30 or above to be able to scan the entrance.

The layout of the missions and enemy factions differ depending on the mission. However, they all share similarities. There are 3 to 5 intel pieces (such as audio logs), as well as 1 backpack charm located in each Classified Assignment. Once the mission is completed, players are prompted to leave the mission area but they may choose to continue exploring and pick up any remaining collectible.

The Division 2 Classified Assignments have a backpack trophy each and some collectibles to find, and we've got the locations

how to access classified assignments division 2

Division 2 Classified Assignments are new missions added to the game in the most recent patch, the same one that introduced the Division 2 raid . Classified Assignments are optional missions in The Division 2 , and they're much shorter than normal missions - which aren't particularly long to begin with. Along the way, each one of the Division 2 Classified Assignments has four audio logs to find, along with a backpack trophy. Right now, there's only two Division 2 Classified Assignments in the game, and we've got the locations for all of the Division 2 Classified Assignment backpack trophies and audio logs.

Division 2 Classified Assignments: National Bond Armory backpack trophy and audio logs

The first Classified Assignment will have you slaying True Sons in the National Bond Armory, and we've got all of the collectible locations for you here:

  • Backpack Trophy (Hotdog)

Division 2 Classified Assignments - Hotdog Backpack Trophy

For the Hotdog backpack trophy, you need to clear the first room of enemies then go through the very first airlock. In front of you will be a yellow power box on the wall - shoot it to unlock a door in the first big room. Go back and up the stairs to the back right corner of the room, where you'll find the Hotdog backpack trophy inside a small crate.

  • Collectible #1

Division 2 Classified Assignments

Right underneath the room with the backpack trophy is the first audio log, on the shelf at the back.

  • Collectible #2

Division 2 Classified Assignments

Go back through the airlock and open the optional door before you go down the stairs to find the next audio log.

  • Collectible #3

Division 2 Classified Assignments

Enter the vault area and you'll be given the objective to destroy four caches. After you clear the enemies, follow the room around to the right and shoot the huge lock off the door to enter another room with a corpse and an audio log.

  • Collectible #4

In the final combat room, after you kill Sergeant Bourne, head to the back left corner and shoot the yellow power box on the wall to open the double doors. Inside the office is some more loot and the final audio log.

Division 2 Classified Assignments: Nelson Theatre backpack trophy and audio logs

The second and only other Division 2 Classified Assignment is in the Nelson Theatre, between the Demolition Site control point and the Theater settlement. Here's where you can find all of the collectibles:

  • Backpack Trophy (Donut)

Division 2 Classified Assignments - Donut Backpack Trophy

After you clear the first combat room, on the left hand side is a room guarded by a rolling metal shutter. There's a keypad next to it but you can't interact with it until you turn on the two generators. Follow the yellow cables to find the first generator upstairs, and the second generator at the end of the next corridor. Turn them both on and head back to the room to get the donut backpack trophy in a small crate.

Division 2 Classified Assignments

The first audio log is also in this room, found on the shelf right behind the backpack trophy.

Division 2 Classified Assignments

Go back down the corridor toward the second generator and on your right will be a blocked elevator. Force the doors open to find a corpse, loot, and the second audio log inside.

Division 2 Classified Assignments

Clear the theatre of enemies then push into the underground. In the long corridor there's a locked door on your right. Shoot the lock off and you'll find another audio log inside.

Division 2 Classified Assignments

For the final audio log, fight through behind the stage in the theatre until you have the objective to search for the cell key. Go right behind the stage and on the right-hand side, if you look up, you'll see a rope that you can shoot attached to a catwalk. Climb up it and you'll find the final audio log on a corpse on the catwalk.

The Division 2 guide: Where to find the Episode 3 classified assignments

If you're looking for a quick answer on where the entrance to the new classified assignments are, you're in the right place.

The Division 2 Classified Assignments

With the drop of Episode 3 for The Division 2 , year one pass holders get another pair of classified assignments to take one with more collectibles to find and more backpack charms to acquire.

As usual, the first order of business is to find the entrance to each of the missions within the purple circle shown on the map. To save you a little time, below, you'll find exactly where to go.

Tens Nightclub

Division 2 Classified Assignment

The first of the two classified assignments is Tens Nightclub, where you'll be heading inside to disrupt the Hyenas Spice operations and take care of "The Chemist." Of the two locations, this is undoubtedly easier to stumble upon.

When you approach the area, the majority of the purple circle will be focused on a block of building on the map.

Division 2 Classified Locations

To find the entrance, head to the location on the map above, on New York Avenue NW in Downtown East. You may trigger a territory control as you approach, but the entrance is pretty easy to spot. Look for the Tens signage, and you'll be golden.

Division 2 Classified Locations

The backpack charm reward for this classified assignment is a burger, and there are five audio log collectibles to find, too.

Central Detention Center

Division 2 Classified Assignment

This one's a little trickier to find. The second classified assignment takes you inside a True Sons controlled detention center to liberate civilian prisoners.

Get the Windows Central Newsletter

All the latest news, reviews, and guides for Windows and Xbox diehards.

When you approach the area in downtown west, you need to head to the very top of the map. You're looking for an underground entrance, highlighted in the images below.

Once you find the open manhole cover, go down the ladder, start heading into the sewers, and you'll see the entrance to the classified assignment immediately on your left.

As a bonus, there's also a faction key box right outside.

Division 2 Classified Locations

The backpack charm reward for this classified assignment is a little box of fries, and there are four audio log collectibles to find, too.

And that's all there is to it. Neither are overly troublesome to find or complete, though you'll undoubtedly find yourself circling back a few times to ensure you get all the items!

The Division 2: Classified Assignments Bond Armory – Where To Find All Collectibles & Backpack Trophy

Get the most out of this DLC mission with our complete guide, showing you how to access every secret room and get an adorable hotdog backpack trophy.

Classified Assignments have dropped into the ruined world of The Division 2 . If you’re a Year Pass holder, you can play the first of these bonus missions — Bond Bank. You can only play once every other day, and each Classified Assignment includes special rewards like bonus collectibles and a hidden Backpack Trophy.

If you want to get everything you can out of this mission, then we’ve got all the locations. There are multiple secret rooms, extra loot, and a whole lot of easy XP to earn. After completing the mission, there’s a timer that locks you out of the mission temporarily, meaning you can’t farm these missions — so if you don’t want to miss out on any of the extra items, we’ve got all the locations listed below.

Bond Armory – Where To Find All Collectibles & Backpack Trophy

how to access classified assignments division 2

The first Classified Mission is called ‘Bond Bank’ — you’ll find it north of the White House Base of Operations. Just follow the pointers into the alley to find the hidden entrance. The area is packed with Hyenas, the first major enemy faction of the game, but it is very doable at any level.

When you exit the stage, you’ll find a mission complete screen with a breakdown of the collectibles / backpack trophy you might’ve missed. Because the Classified Mission is on a timer, you won’t be able to replay the mission temporarily after completing it. Instead, try clearing out the mission and entering the secret rooms described below.

Collectible #1 : In the first combat room (two story lobby), go to the bottom floor and check the room in the back-right corner.

Backpack Trophy: Hotdog – The backpack trophy is located in a locked room, on the second floor of the first combat area — in the upper back-right corner from the entrance. To get inside, find the ‘Administration’ door, and follow the yellow line. It leads you down to the front of the ‘Security’ room near the stairs leading to the vault. Shoot the yellow box to unlock the door, then you can return and loot the contents.

Collectible #2 : After completing the lobby, go through the first airlock, then open the optional door to the security room at the top of the stairs. There are several loot containers and a collectible.

Collectible #3 : In the second combat area (vault) where you need to destroy four caches, look just to the right as you enter. There’s a gate with a lock. Shoot the lock off to get inside. Again, you’ll find several containers and a collectible.

Collectible #4 : In the final combat area (offices) with the communications equipment, go to the back-left corner. There’s a locked office here. Shoot the yellow box to the left of the door to unlock it. There’s one more secret room full of loot and the last collectible.

The Division 2 Nightclub Classified Assignment: Where to Find Backpack Charm and Audio Logs

The Division 2 Nightclub Classified Assignment: Where to Find Backpack Charm and Audio Logs

Image of Brandon Adams

Episode 3 has finally arrived to The Division 2, and with it the new Nightclub Classified Assignment for Annual Pass holders to tackle. Naturally, everyone wants to know where the audio logs are, and how to find the hamburger backpack charm, so this guide will help all of you collectible fiends hoover them up.

The first audio log is found immediately after entering the Nightclub Classified Assignment.

This one is simple: as soon as you enter the nightclub make your way down the hall until you reach some stairs leading down to the Brass Room. There is a jammed elevator door with the audio log behind it. Just walk up, interact with the door, and grab the log.

division-2-nightclub-collect-1

Number 2 is within the Brass Room, behind the bar.

The second audio log within the assignment requires a little finesse to grab, but it’s nothing difficult. Within the Brass Room you’ll notice a bar to the left. There is a hallway that goes behind it. Enter that hallway and you will see some shelves and a couple mannequins along one wall within the adjacent room. Look into the room to see a door with a yellow padlock on it. Shoot the padlock, then leave the hallway. A door behind the bar can now be opened, leading to the second log.

division-2-nightclub-collect-2

The third collectible isn’t an audio log, but an easy to reach Echo.

As you leave the Brass Room and head into the lavatory hall (moving through the mission normally), you’ll see an Echo before you climb an elevator shaft. Nothing more to this one, folks.

The actual third audio log is after the elevator, but can’t be reached immediately.

This one will require you to clear the mission, seeing as it is behind a locked door. The panel you need to shoot to open it is in the Geode Room, which is the final room of the Nightclub Classified Assignment. Progress through the mission until you defeat The Chemist, and when she is down check the wall opposite the stage. You should see the control room above, with a wire running out of it. Follow the wire to a yellow panel on the second floor, and shoot it. Open the door that leads to the exit, and move beyond it to find yourself back in the hallway where the log was located. Open the door, and collect! This room will be important later, but we’ll re-attack that point after the next log is collected.

division-2-nightclub-collect-3

The fourth log is in the Silver Room, and requires a key to access.

This one may seem tricky, but the solution is a short jaunt away. After leaving the second story of the grow room, you’ll find yourself at the booth above the Silver Room. The phone is in the room to the right, but you will need a key to get in. After clearing the Silver Room of Hyena goons, look on the right wall for a dead Hyena slumped in front of some pink panels. Loot his corpse for the key, then return to the locked door. The audio log is yours to collect.

division-2-nightclub-collect-4

Solve a unique puzzle to grab the Nightclub backpack charm.

So, remember how I mentioned the room from the third audio log was going to be important later? In that room there are six keyboards with symbols above them. To unlock the door leading to the charm you need to solve a little code. Here is the rub, however: the code will be different for every player.

The trick here is to find generators hidden in the level. They are small, square generators – not to be confused with the larger rectangular ones. You know you are on the right track if you see four lights with wires running out of them to a single location. That location happens to be the generator. Turning it on will illuminate one of the lights, and if you look in the vicinity you should notice one of the symbols spray-painted in the environment. This is the order of the code – a plus with the third light on means it comes third.

A generator can be found in the room with the fourth audio log, one in the lavatory hall before the echo device, and one at the beginning above the elevators the first audio log was located (and, the door up there to the Golden Room is the door that will unlock and lead to the charm when the combo is correct).

You only need three to complete the code: you can figure out the fourth by elimination. Pro-tip: if you shot out any of the lights the one one flickering is the “illuminated” one. Once you have the code return to the room and input it by toggling the keyboards in the correct order. An audible charm should go off if you did it correctly. Double back to the beginning to the door above the elevators, and you’ll find the Nightclub charm behind it.

The Division 2 Year 1 Content, Year 1 Pass and Monetization Details

Greetings Agents!

As we move towards the Open Beta and the launch of Tom Clancy's The Division 2, we want to offer you a deeper look at our first year of free content as well as our in-game monetization. Let's dive in!

Year 1 Content: Episodes and Specializations

In Tom Clancy's The Division 2, we are focused on offering you an exciting endgame experience on Day One. What's more, we are committed to bring you more content regularly, that we believe will improve and renew your experience every time you spawn in Washington D.C. To that end, we will release three Episodes during the course of Year 1, expanding on the story of The Division 2. These Episodes will introduce new narrative driven content, as well as new ways to play the game. This additional content will be free for all players of The Division 2. Alongside the Episodes we will also release three brand new Specializations for you to take on Washington's challenges in a new way, each of them bringing a new unique signature weapon and skills tree to unlock and master.

Check out our Year 1 trailer now to find out more about our post-launch content, as well as a first exclusive glimpse into our upcoming 8-player Raid:

undefined

  • The first Episode, D.C. Outskirts: Expeditions will take you to the surrounding areas of Washington as you chase down elite members of the Outcasts and the Black Tusks and fight for the liberation of the city in new locations.
  • The second Episode, Pentagon: The Last Castle will bring you to one of America's most iconic locations to unveil what secrets lie inside this well protected maze.
  • Our third Episode will conclude Year 1 of The Division 2 and pave the way for more thrilling content.

Of course, we will also regularly update the game with Quality of Life improvements, bug fixes, new events, loot, cosmetics and much more.

Year 1 Pass

For our most dedicated players, we will also release the Year 1 Pass, allowing you to get more of The Division 2, sooner. Year 1 Pass holders will receive several exclusive content detailed below.

Y1_Pass

The Year 1 Pass includes the following additional content:

7-Day Early Access to Episode Narrative Content

  • Owners of the Pass will have a 7-day early access to the narrative content only , included in all Year 1 Episodes .

Instant unlock of the Year 1 Specializations

  • At launch, The Division 2 will include three Specializations, instantly available to everyone when reaching max level (Level 30).
  • Throughout Year 1, we will release three additional Specializations for your agent. Year 1 Pass holders will unlock these new specializations as soon as they're released.
  • For those who do not have the Year 1 Pass, specializations will be released at the same time, but must be unlocked over time through gameplay.
  • Year 1 Pass holders will also be able to earn exclusive cosmetic items with each Specialization's release.

Exclusive Access to Classified Assignments

  • Over the course of Year 1, Pass holders will have exclusive access to 8 Classified Assignments, which will provide more story behind the events leading to your arrival in D.C.
  • Completing each assignment will award you with a unique and exclusive backpack trophy to customize your Agent's look.

Additional Bounties and Projects

  • Bounties in The Division 2 are special tasks to eliminate specific enemy targets, while Projects are assignments to complete various tasks around D.C.
  • As a Year 1 Pass holder, you will get access to one additional Bounty per week and one extra Project per day for a Challenging mission.
  • This perk ends on March 1st, 2020.

Exclusive Cosmetic Items

  • Year 1 Pass holders will get access to these exclusive rewards: the Agent Ward Outfit and the Scout emote.

You can get the Year 1 Pass with the Gold or Ultimate Editions.

The Year 1 Pass will also become available as a separate purchase when the game launches.

Post-Launch Monetization

Our overall monetization philosophy is that purchasable items should always be optional to the player.

At launch there will be two ways to purchase additional content for The Division 2.

  • First and foremost is the Year 1 Pass, lined out in detail above.
  • Secondly, we have the in-game Apparel Store, where players are able to directly purchase cosmetic items for purchasable Premium Credits. This option exists for those who wish to know exactly what they are buying and are looking to acquire a specific cosmetic item.

Shortly after launch we will be adding the first purchasable Apparel Caches. These Caches will contain cosmetics only: no weapons, crafting materials or other gear. Acquiring a Cache will never provide any type of advantage.

Our intention is for players to organically earn new pieces of Apparel as they enjoy the many different activities of The Division 2; getting cosmetics from gameplay should be fun, exciting and rewarding. For those who wish to speed up this process, or acquire specific Apparel, there will be choices to directly purchase individual cosmetics in the Apparel Store, or via Event Caches post launch.

Will Year 1 pass holders receive any gameplay advantage over other players?

Our intention is to allow all players an even playing field. Year 1 Pass holders will receive certain content like early access to Episodes and additional narrative experiences in Classified Assignments.

Raids, new weapons, gear and other gameplay-affecting post launch additions will be available to all players at the same time.

Won't instant access to new Specializations allow Year 1 pass holders gameplay advantage?

Specializations are unique and powerful with abilities and specialized weapons tailored to specific playstyles. When in skilled hands, these can turn the tide of battle. Though Year 1 Pass owners will have the benefit of instant access to new specializations, all players will be able to unlock them over time through gameplay. They will have different strengths and weaknesses, and appeal to different playstyles and tactical situations. Those who choose not to unlock new specializations via the Year 1 Pass or gameplay will still have access to the original three: Sharpshooter, Survivalist, and Demolitionist, and these will offer the same tier of power as new specializations.

In the Ultimate Edition, you are able to unlock extra spaces in your stash early in the game. Will additional stash space slots be monetized in the future?

No, stash space will not be monetized. If the available stash size becomes an issue affecting the game experience as we add more gear with new updates, we will of course take the necessary measures, for free.

To clarify, how many stash slots are available to players, and how many additional slots are provided to players who purchase the Ultimate Edition?

In general, players will start with 50 slots in the game. This stash space can be increased through 3 upgrade steps as perks by spending SHD Tech which they can accumulate from playing the game. These upgrade steps unlock 20, 30 and 50 slots respectively. This means that all players can get a total of 150 slots. The last upgrade step of 50 slots can only be unlocked when the player is level 30. Players who own the Ultimate Edition are awarded this final upgrade step from the beginning of the game, which means they will have a strong and convenient head start with 100 stash space slots at level 1, without having to spend any SHD Tech. Furthermore, it costs more SHD Tech to purchase this TIER 3 upgrade step of 50 slots than most perks which gives Ultimate Edition players the benefit to spend their valuable SHD Tech elsewhere.

What about cosmetic items? How can I obtain them?

As you play the game, you will frequently acquire cosmetic items through Apparel Caches. Shortly after launch, there will also be time-limited Events. Those come with a dedicated Cache, which can be both earned through gameplay or purchased.

Are there more than one type of Apparel Cache?

Currently we have two categories of Apparel Caches planned. For simplicity's sake, let us refer to them as Standard and Event in this article.

How do the different Apparel Caches work?

Standard Apparel Caches are the bread and butter of our cosmetics system, containing a large assortment of different cosmetics. All Standard Caches drop items from the same "standard pool" of cosmetics. These can be obtained via playing the game and completing different activities in the world, and cannot be purchased.

Event Caches appear for a limited time, and will contain a new and unique pool of cosmetics. Once this time-limited vanity event is over, these items will typically be added to the standard pool and thus attainable in Standard Caches. Event Caches can be earned via playing the game and completing activities during the event, as well as be purchased with Premium Credits.**

Can I get duplicate items in my Apparel Caches?

Event Caches will not contain duplicate items. This means there is a finite number of Event Caches to acquire (through gameplay or purchase) in order to attain said Event's full Apparel offering.

Our acquired through gameplay only Standard Caches may contain duplicate items. When this happens, players will instead be rewarded with partial progress towards their next Cache.

What are the drop rates like?

The drop rate is flat across all items in the Apparel Caches pool and items of higher quality have the same chance to dropping as items of lower quality. As an example: if you acquire an Event crate with 100 possible items, every item would have an equal drop chance of 1% regardless of their quality.*

Can I see what's inside a Cache?

For Event Caches, there will be a preview list of the items available inside. As drop rates are flat, you will be able to predict your chances of getting the item you want.

This preview list will not be available for Standard Caches, as these contain a large and ever growing pool of items with no time limitation for players to acquire.

What is the expected duration and cadence of Events?

Event timings will be based on a wide set of factors and is not something we can communicate in detail at this time. Stay tuned for the first time limited Event shortly after launch of The Division 2!

These are our current plans for Tom Clancy's The Division 2. We would love to hear your feedback, questions and thoughts on this matter, so please join us on our forums or Tweet our way with #AskTheDivision2! Thank you, Agents, and see you in Washington, D.C. soon!

*any numbers are used purely as examples, and should not be taken as final or indicative of the final system.

**some seasonal apparel events may offer items only attainable during that time; this will be clearly communicated., recommended.
