How Innovation and Technology Makes Life Easier Essay

  • To find inspiration for your paper and overcome writer’s block
  • As a source of information (ensure proper referencing)
  • As a template for you assignment

Introduction

Works cited.

For the people living in the age of highly developed technological progress, it is rather hard to imagine life without all of the existing innovations. Contemporary society can hardly function on the proper level without machines. It is difficult to overestimate the input of modern technologies in making the life of common people easier and happier.

Some people believe that modern inventions contribute to our laziness and inability to communicate. In my opinion, the negative effects of technology overuse really exist, but they are mostly caused by our lack of education and irresponsibility. They can be easily avoided if people behave properly. The machines were created for making our life easy, and it is not their fault if we use them unduly.

Without innovations, our world would look different. It goes without saying that the invention of such widely used devices as the washing machine or a vacuum cleaner gave more free time to common people. However, the influence of technologies is not limited to this side of everyday life. On the contrary, all of the essential parts of the life of our society are based on the use of technology.

The technologies made the studying process easy and accessible for people with any income and location. Owing to modern gadgets and Internet, contemporary students have the possibility to find any scholarly source needed at any time. Without innovations, the work of firefighters, police officers, and rescuers would be much less productive. Thanks to the machines, our healthcare system is constantly making progress in finding solutions for different health problems. Without technologies, the level of medical services would be much lower. Besides, the adoption of technologies maximizes the independence of older adults and makes their life easier and safer (Adams et al. 1718). The use of technologies results in millions of lives and loads of time saved.

The efficacious use of technologies in all spheres of life is directly associated with the level of development of a country. It is a well-known fact that a permanent introduction of innovative technologies into the functioning of different systems results in providing better services and increasing the perception of quality of life. It leads to a higher standard of life for citizens and the elaboration of the country’s reputation all over the world. Therefore, the implantation of innovations is one of the main characteristics of the developed countries, recognized as leaders in the world community.

The United Arab Emirates is a country that has gained the reputation of the leader in implementing up-to-date innovations into life. His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the UAE, has announced 2015 to be the year of innovations in the country. Within the framework of the project, plans for a major museum of the future in Dubai have been launched. The museum “will produce futuristic inventions” and support the UAE in reaching the object of being the most path-breaking country in the world (Sophia par. 2). Different sections will present the newest inventions and demonstrate simulations, enabling the visitors to see the future with the use of 3D printing techniques (Sophia par. 4). Besides, the museum will unite the most prominent specialists under one roof. It will create an opportunity for realizing the whole potential of the best inventors in constructing futuristic prototypes. It seems that this incredible institution will attract much attention from researchers and common people from the whole world.

Technologies and innovations are the main engines driving our society towards a happier future. The most developed countries support inventions and embody them into life. The UAE remains the leader in implementing innovations and strikes the world with its new projects.

has computer made life easier

has computer made life easier?

Nowadays, with the rapid development of the technology, it has become an important part of the human's life. Some people say that computers have made life easier and more convenient, but other people say that computers have made life more complex and stressful. I, on the other hand, think that computers have made life more simple and convenient because it helps people communicate, get information and do research. Firstly, computers have made life easily done and more convenient is preferable, as a result, you can communicate with other people with no trouble, especially for many people who live far from their family. For example, my uncle has lived and worked in America for 15 years, but my grandmother and my family are living in Vietnam so that it is very difficult to contact without using computers. Furthermore, it is extremely helpful when you have to face up to an emergency situation. For instance, a few days ago, I need to bring my research for my literature class and I had left if at home. So I was totally worried because it is the deadline of the research. If I did not hand in the paper, I would have gotten a worse score. Then in this case, I had to call my father to bring it to me. Thus, it is highly convenient for many people. Secondly, the computers provide many pieces of information, you can use the computer to get information and broaden your knowledge. You can read the news and listen to the radio on the computer. Thus, it can help you to update your information. Finally, the computers are extremely useful when you need to do research. You can find the information on the internet then you can type your research on the computer. It can help you save the research easily. When you have done the research, you can print them out neatly. Therefore, you can do your works easily, no matter it what it is, even audio or video data. In conclusion, I think that computers have made life easier and more beneficial for the reason as communication, information and research.

Essay, Paragraph, Speech on “Has computer made life easier”  Essay for Class 9, Class 10, Class 12 Class and Graduation Exams.

Has computer made life easier

Computers are involved in our world form sorted trash to satellite control, making our life easy, convenient and efficient. Obviously, it’s a great revolution of human being. It’s odd that some consider that computers make life more complex and stressful. I suppose computers will become a necessity, like food and water to the mankind.

Computers have changed people’s life style, in a way that we can concentrate on scientific research rather than wasting time on data analyzing and calculating, for computers are much more efficient in dealing with these strenuous jobs. Many activities could not be run in their present form without computers. Examples are the banking systems, and the weather forecasting systems. How is it possible to deal with data-switching between banks and clients simultaneously and accurately without computers? As we known, weather forecasting requires multiprocessing data from the meteorological satellites and simulating the weather change, which are easy jobs for computers.

Although the knowledge of computer is not easy to acquired, especially at early stage, the IT industry has been making the computer operation system more friendly and at the same time more powerful. Therefore, using computers to handle problems is not the specialties of computer majors only. Even children can use computers to do their homework. We can now benefit a lot from computers in our day-to-day life.

One of the concerns is that computers may cause some troubles when we rely too much on them, such as various computer viruses and the Y2K problem. Nevertheless, computer experts will surely solve these problems and improve the computer technology. In this sense, the computer technology has much potential to develop.

After all, the computer is one of the most important inventions in the twentieth century. It has formed a new era in our life, and it affects culture, industry, science, education and other areas. Computerization is a trend nowadays, and computers are being used in many areas. Computers like any other technology hold the key to increased productivity, which will benefit all of us.

Model essay #1:, some people say that computers have made life easier and more convenient. other people say that computers have made life more complex and stressful. what is your opinion.

In today's modern world, computers have become an integral part of our lives. Some individuals argue that computers have facilitated life, making it more convenient, while others believe that they have added complexity and stress. In my opinion, computers have indeed made life more convenient in various aspects.

Firstly, computers have streamlined communication. With the advent of email, instant messaging, and social media, people can easily connect with each other regardless of geographical barriers. This convenience has revolutionized the way we stay in touch with family and friends, as well as conduct business transactions.

Secondly, computers have simplified access to information. The internet provides a vast repository of knowledge that can be accessed with just a few clicks. This has proven to be invaluable in education, research, and problem-solving. Furthermore, online resources have made tasks such as banking, shopping, and booking travel arrangements more accessible and convenient.

However, it is important to acknowledge that excessive reliance on computers can lead to complexity and stress. For example, the constant barrage of emails and notifications can be overwhelming, leading to information overload and decreased productivity. Additionally, issues such as cyber security threats and technological malfunctions can cause significant stress and anxiety.

In conclusion, while computers have undoubtedly enhanced convenience and efficiency in various aspects of life, it is essential to strike a balance and use them judiciously to avoid becoming overwhelmed by their complexities. Overall, I believe that the benefits of computers in making life easier outweigh the potential stress they may bring, provided that they are used in a balanced and mindful manner.

Model Essay #2:

In today's rapidly advancing technological landscape, the role of computers in shaping our daily lives has sparked a debate. While some argue that computers have made life more convenient, others assert that they have introduced complexity and stress. From my perspective, the increasing reliance on computers has indeed brought about a myriad of complexities and stressors.

To begin with, the constant need to stay connected and updated through computers has led to a blurring of boundaries between work and personal life. Many individuals find themselves unable to disconnect from work-related emails and tasks, leading to heightened stress levels and a diminished work-life balance.

Moreover, the rapid pace of technological advancements has created a pressure to constantly upgrade and adapt to new software and devices. This not only adds a layer of complexity to daily tasks but also creates a sense of anxiety and inadequacy for those who struggle to keep up with the ever-evolving technology.

Furthermore, the increased reliance on computers for essential tasks such as banking, shopping, and communication has made individuals vulnerable to cyber security threats and identity theft, leading to a heightened sense of stress and insecurity.

While it cannot be denied that computers have indeed brought about convenience in certain aspects of life, such as accessing information and streamlining communication, the overall impact has led to a more complex and stressful existence for many individuals.

In conclusion, the proliferation of computers in our daily lives has undeniably introduced a myriad of stressors and complexities. It is crucial for individuals to find a balance and limit their reliance on computers to mitigate the negative impact they can have on overall well-being and mental health.

Agree or Disagree Sample Essay- Technology

How to write an ‘agree or disagree’ IELTS essay:

  • Plan your answer – do you agree or disagree with the statement?
  • Explain your reasons in your introduction, and mention what you will discuss.
  • Write 2-3 paragraphs, developing your argument.
  • Write a summary of your arguments in the conclusion.
  • Read this sample essay for an example.

Life was better when technology was simpler. To what extent do you agree and disagree?

It is argued that our lives were more fulfilling when technology was less advanced. This essay disagrees with this statement and believes that computers and the internet have made life better. The essay will first discuss how smartphones save us time and then talk about how the internet has improved education, followed by a reasoned conclusion.

New phones, such as the iPhone, have made our daily lives much less laborious and give us more free time. Jobs that required lots of energy and time can now be done at the touch of a button. For example, if we wanted to communicate with one another in the past, we had to write a letter, take it to the post office and then wait for it to be delivered, whereas these days we can simply tap the email icon on our touch screen and send a message in seconds.

The internet has also enriched our lives by providing us with more information than we could ever need, thus making us more independent and effective learners. In the past students had to rely on a teacher or physical books for their education and these were often either unavailable or in a format that most people did not want, but now we can pick and choose what we want to learn. For example, there are now thousands of free online courses available on YouTube that anyone can watch and learn from anywhere in the world.

In conclusion, life has been improved by technological advancements, particularly labour saving devices like phones and learning opportunities provided by the internet.

IELTS: Computers have made life easier Vs Complicated ??

anshita 2 / 4   Feb 24, 2014   #1 Some people say that the invention of computers is one of the greatest invention of humankind's invention and computer simplified our life .However, others think that computers make their life complex and stressed. I agree with those people who believe that computer brought many benefits and plays vital role in today's modern life. First of all, every company uses a computer to store it's data and make different kinds of operations. We can't imagine life without computers now a days. Imagine a computer with thousands of papers to store or imagine a bank without computerisation. It's very hard to get piece of information from these companies. one has to wait for long hours, while employee is searching for the information paper by paper. It wastes one's valuable time and effort. on the other hand, by using computers, one can get any information within second from anywhere. For example, when i was a child, my parents used to go railway stations and get the tickets after having spend lot of time in queue lines. However, today we can get train tickets from our home itself by having computer, internet access and bank debit card for transaction. Computer makes our life very simple and easier, I can say. Second of all, Computer is one of the means for communication. It is easiest and cheapest way to communicate with relatives, friends, and business partners around the globe. In olden days, people used to send telegraphs and they had to wait for reply for 3-4 days. Now, by using computers we are able to exchange our feelings with others in no time. Also, a person can buy any product in online by using computers from anywhere. He/She does not have to walk out and do shopping reluctantly. Finally, It is because of computers, one can able to find better employment opportunities suitable for their abilities all over world. Farmers are able to find better market for their products and are able to fair price for their yields. In conclusion, I feel that despite of few odds which are minimal, computers brought many advantages and makes our life easier. It changed our attitude towards life. People became more closer and friendlier.

Serapke 8 / 14   Feb 24, 2014   #2 Some people say that the invention of computers is one of the greatest invention of humankind's invention and computer simplified our life Don't repeat the same word 3 times in one sentence. Try to say it in other words. If you once mentioned something in plural, it is a good practice to mention it again in plural again (not in singular). We can't imagine life without computers now a days . <-- Nowadays For example, when i was a child, my parents used to go to railway stations and get buy the tickets after having spending lot of time a whole (or half a) day in a queue lines .

cherrypool - / 2   Feb 26, 2014   #3 I think u should balance the length of 3 parts, and shopping online is not the mean of communication.
