The IGNOU has released the guidelines that students must comply while preparing and submitting their assignments. Here are the updated guidelines:

All the assignment should be hand written.

Students must use A4 ruled paper (unless it is instructed on your TMA).

Leave 4 cm margin on left and right side of each page.

Do not use staplers, to bind the pages; you use need threads (what is typically found with cover files).

Avoid using any ink colour other than blue and black.

First you need to attach the cover page (You will find it at your study centre).

Then, attach a photocopy of your IGNOU ID card.

After that, attach a copy of your TMA (question paper on your assignment document).

Lastly, attach your hand written answers.

Leave one blank page in the end.

Do not use any files while submitting your assignments. Your assignment should only consist of the pages, tied with a thread.

You must take a submission receipt, which will be stamped by the study centre with submission dates. In case, your study centre is unable to provide you one, take a photocopy of the cover page of your assignment and get that stamped.

Note: For submission of practicals, you need to use a cover file.

IGNOU Assignment Status 2024

As we all know that the university has re-extended the last date for submission of the IGNOU Assignment for the TEE June 2024 session. Therefore, we hope that the IGNOU RCs across the country have also begun to update the IGNOU Assignment Status Online for the most recent TEE session June 2024. As of now, the students will only get to know the status of “ Received to be Processed ” as the assignment marks and results for the session June 2024 will be declared together with IGNOU TEE Result June 2024. Therefore, candidates are advised to keep checking their IGNOU Assignment status regularly to get their assignment marks and results online as soon as possible.

IGNOU assignment status and marks for TEE December 2023 are now uploaded with the TEE Result December 2023 so keep checking the assignment status regularly to get your marks. If you already submitted the IGNOU Assignment for the session December 2023 to your study centre or through online or offline mode then you don’t have to wait for more time. The link to check your assignment status and marks is now updated to confirm whether it gets updated online or not. The assignment status and marks for June & December 2023 are generally updated with the TEE Result for June & December 2023 respectively.

IGNOU Assignment Status Update Process & Time

After submission of assignments through any of the available methods, the assignments goes for an evaluation to the evaluator of the study centre or regional centre. Once the Evaluator has successfully evaluated your assignment then they will either upload your marks directly on the IGNOU Official Site or it will be sent to IGNOU Delhi for updating online and thereafter it can be seen by each student to get their report. You can get your Marks, Status, Grades, and Results of your Assignments from here. Generally, IGNOU Assignment marks updating and uploading within 40 days after submission to the concerned study or regional centre.

IGNOU Assignment Submission Status List 2024

The students of TEE June 2024, December 2023, June 2023, and December 2022 may check the status of their IGNOU Assignments from here. The submission of the IGNOU Assignment for session June 2024 was already over so candidates can now regularly check the status to get to know whether their marks are updated in the grade card or not. How to Check IGNOU Assignment Status, Marks & Result 2024?

Many of the students are getting confused about checking their assignment status & marks online after the submission of their assignments to the study centre which they prepared with their hard work. We have made the process easier for students to find their assignment status, marks & results in one place.

Note – IGNOU Assignment status may take some time to get updated online so candidates are requested to keep checking their status regularly to find their assignment marks from here. In some cases, the study centre first evaluates the assignment, after evaluation, they send the marks to the regional centre and then the concerned authority at RC uploads the marks online which definitely takes some time.

IGNOU Assignment Status Meaning

When you check through the IGNOU assignment status, you may come up with three different statuses accordingly. Here are the meanings of these statuses that you notice on the window:

IGNOU Assignment Result and Marks 2024

The assignment status will show you when the evaluation is done. The university will start updating your marks on the grade card as soon as the evaluation of the assignments is done. So, you must check the grade card after the assignment status says you to do so.

Step – 1 – Visit the official IGNOU portal at www.ignou.ac.in and go to Student Zone.

Step – 2 –  Search for Results and click on it.

Step – 3 – From the left panel, click on Grade Card.

Step – 4 – Provide your program, course, and enrolment number to search and get your grade card.

As you see your grade card, you can check whether the university has updated your assignment marks on it or not. If the search results are leading to an error, this means the university has not yet started updating the grade cards of the students for this semester.

What If IGNOU Assignment Status Is Not Updated?

Sometimes the update process of IGNOU Assignment status gets delayed for an unknown reason like the evaluation of assignments is delayed in the concerned study centre or maybe the regional centre has not uploaded your assignment marks online. Candidates can wait till the declaration of the result to get updates on their assignment but if you are not able to find your assignment status or marks even after the release of the TEE Result then you need to connect with centre where you submitted your assignments.

In most cases, candidates have to visit their IGNOU Study Centre and complain to the coordinator of centre to get updates regarding their pending assignment marks and status. Please keep a copy of the grade card and don’t forget the receipt of the assignment that you received while submitting of assignments. All the learners can submit the Assignment/Project Reports/Internship/Field Work Journal/Dissertation etc., for TEE, June 2021 till June 15.

How to submit final projects, dissertations, fieldwork journals, and internship reports online:

• Visit the official website, i.e., ignou.ac.in.
• On the homepage, click on, "Online Link for Submission of Final Project/Dissertation/Field Work Journals/Internships Reports for June 2021 Session Last Date is 15th June 2021"
• A new page will appear on the screen.
• Read the full notification carefully and then proceed.
• Click on the 'Yes' option, then select the option you want to upload
• Submit the file.
• Due to the corona-19 pandemic, it has been decided to postpone Learner Support Services at all Regional Centre/Learner Support Centre's (LSC). The University has further decided to introduce and adopt "Online Mode" to submit the final Project/Dissertation/Field Work Journals/Internship Report to facilitate the learners.
• The learners are expected to prepare the Project Report based on the approved Project proposal wherever applicable as per the project guidelines. The Project guidelines will be the same as contained in the project guidelines booklet sent with SLM
• The learners may ensure that while submitting the final project through Online Mode, the Proposal Proforma is duly approved in original, along with "Synopsis" and Bio-data of the project guide and originality certificate is duly signed by both the Student and the Project Guide with the date to be incorporated (wherever applicable)
• The learners may ensure that while uploading a digital copy of the project through online mode, scanned pages are clear and not blurred, the sequence is correct, pages are well lighted and not dim; orientation of pages is same — should not change between portrait and landscape
• In case of any query with regard to the submitted Project/Dissertation/Field Work Journal/Internship report, the students are advised to write to the respective Regional Centre's Email ID/SED (Project Section) Email ID.

Indira Gandhi National Open University at extended the last date to submit an assignment for IGNOU TEE June 2021. The last date for assignment submission for the June term-end examination has been extended till May 31st, 2021. The official notice is available on the site of IGNOU on ignou.ac.in.

Candidates of all programs can submit their assignments by the date mentioned above India official website of IGNOU. Earlier, the Last date for the assignment submission for IGNOU TEE 2021 was scheduled for April 30.As per IGNOU's official Twitter statement, " The last date for submission of assignment has been extended till 31st May 2021 for TEEJune 2021."

The official notice by IGNOU reads, " The last date for submission for the term-end examination June 2021 both online and offline physical submission has been extended up to 31st May 2021."

Indira Gandhi National Open University scheduled its UG PG examination from June 15 which will end on July 19 for the academic semester 20-21. The UG PG examination for IGNOU would be conducted in two sessions morning and evening. Candidates are advised to keep a regular check on the official website of IGNOU that is ignou.ac.in for more and latest updates.

IGNOU Result December 2023 and June 2023.

IGNOU Result is published in many phases. New result lot is added as and when received from REC . Please note that the complete result is not declared. Hence many student may get message " Result not Found / Yet to be declared ". So in such case student need not to worry, they just need to regularly keep checking website.

Enter only enrollment number in the search box to see the IGNOU result . The result is displayed in Tabular form with course code and marks obtained by the student.

IGNOU June 2023 exam result was declared on 20 June 2023 . Examination (theory) for June 2023 session concluded on 7th July 2023 as per datesheet and the practical exams were also concluded in the August 2023.

IGNOU Exam result displays the mark obtained by the student after examination. Exam result is published on the website online via official link. Student can check it in their mobile/ Laptop/ Desktop. Practical exam marks will be published after the conduct of practical exam.

IGNOU practical exam result shows the maks secured by student in session end practical exam. Practical exam Schedule for some programme is already announced by the university. Project Viva is also being conducted by some RCs and some RCs have already completed this activity.

Result declared is not the complete result and more result data will added time to time in the website based on the availability of data received from various IGNOU Regional Evaluation Centre. 

To Check IGNOU result you need to enter your enrollment number and click on submit button. If your result data is available then it will be displayed in tabular form, otherwise you get message "Result not found /Yet to be declared" . In such case you can check after few days.

Short Question Answer related to IGNOU Exam result .

Result section of Student Evaluation Division is mainly responsible for evaluation of learner performance in Term-End Examinations. It coordinates the activities pertaining to continuous evaluation and evaluation of Project Reports. It is also mandated for certification of learners by conferring degrees/diplomas/certificates. The SED also maintains the database of all active learners on the rolls of the University. Currently the Division has established Seven Regional Evaluation Centres (RECs) to undertake the task of evaluation of answer scripts of June and December term end examinations.

IGNOU RESULT - TEE June 2021 Session (Previous Session)

IGNOU has declared the result (in the last week of August 2021) for ongoing Term End Exam - June 2021 session which started from 03 August 2021 and is set to conclude on 9 th September 2021 . Only final year student of Degree Diploma and Certificate programme were allowed to write this TEE June 2021 remaining student will be allowed to appear in TEE DEC 2021 and exam fee will be adjusted accordingly.

Generally, IGNOU declares the result after the 45 days of last exam for the session. Since TEE June Exam was already delayed due to second wave of pandemic in the entire country, in order to keep the University schedule on track, as and when result data is received from Regional Evaluation Center, IGNOU HQ publishes the result on the website.  

Many students may get the message “Enrolment Number Not found / Result yet to be declared” in such case , students need not be panic just keep checking the website for your result.

IGNOU Exam Result  is declared on the University Portal generally after 30 days  of the last exam of that  session.

Results  are declared on incremental basis i.e. all the results is not declared at a time it may take some time so students must have patience and keep visiting the website for their results if any pending. Any student  booked under unfair means then result of such candidate will not be declared. Once  the result is declared on the University portal it may take some time to reflect on the grade card . Student must have patience for updation in the grade card.

After the declaration of IGNOU Term End exam result if any student is not satisfied with the result, such students can apply for re-evaluation.In re-evaluation, answer script is re-evaluated by the other evaluator and marks are allocated. Re-evaluation form for the paper(s) must be submitted within 40 days (earliar it was 30 days) from the declaration of result. Re-evaluation FEE is Rs 750/- Per Course/Paper. Fee is to be paid online.

How to Count 40 days of result declaration to Apply for  IGNOU Re-evaluation ?

Date of Result declaration for the paper / course is mentioned along with result paper/Course  wise. As and when paper/course marks is received from the Regional Evaluation centre, it is updated by HQ in the result portal with dates for each course/paper separately . Since all the paper/Course result is not declared at a time, hence 40 days is counted from the date of publishing result for that particular paper. Based on the calculation if you feel 40 days is not completed then you can apply for IGNOU Re-evaluation online.

IGNOU Re-evaluation Result updation in Online Grade Card and Postal dispatch

After the submission of re-evaluation application, student can check the result of re-evaluation online, generally after 30 days. There is separate link to check re-evaluation result on the University website.

After re-evaluation, the Higher of the two scores of Original Vs Re-evaluation marks/grade will be considered for updation in the grade card. If a student obtained less marks in re-evaluation then the original mark will be retained. 

The revised marks/grade after re-evaluation, is intimated to the student and updated on the IGNOU website.

IGNOU Early Declaration of Results :

IGNOU has a provision of   ”Early declaration of result ” to facilitate the learner who need the result early. This facilitates the student who has got the better opportunity for higher studies or employment opportunity. Such students can apply for early declaration of result with valid proof and need to pay some fee for the same along with application form. Result link for  ”Early declaration of result””  is activated before the general (for all) .

Students who  have got offer of admission and or selected for job  etc and are required to produce mark sheet by a specified given date can apply for early declaration of results.

Such needy students are required to fill the form of  Early Declaration of Result  and apply.

• The fee for early declaration of result is Rs 1000/- per course.
• It is entertained for final semester/year or maximum of 4 backlog courses only, subject to the some conditions mentioned in form.
• Fee to paid in form of DD in favour of IGNOU along with the attested pho tocopy of the offer of admission/ employment etc as proof.
• Requests for early declaration  to be submitted before the commencement of the Term-end Examination i.e., before 1st  June and 1st December respectively.
• This form should reach to SED, HQ before the commencement of Examination.

Improvement of Division/Marks in IGNOU

The improvement of marks/grades is applicable only for the Bachelor /Master Degree students who have completed the programme. The eligibility is as under:-

• Bachelor /Master  Degree student who fall short of 2% marks to secure 2nd   and 1st division can apply.
• Master Degree Student only, who fall short of 2% marks to secure overall 55% marks.
• Students will have to apply within six months from the date of issue of final  marks/grade card or  in coming TEE cycle.
• No student will be permitted to improve if maximum duration to complete the programme has expired.
• The improvement is permissible  only in theory papers . No improvement is permissible in Practical/ Lab / Project / Dissertation/ Workshop and Assignment etc.

Updation of IGNOU Exam Result in ONLINE Grade Card in the form of % :

IGNOU online grade card is updated in the form of percentage for each course(s)

IGNOU Term End Exam Result is published in the format of Mark obtained and Max Mark for each course wise. Eg. 35/50 (Here 35 is marks obtained by student and Max Mark is 50). Similarly it may be 73/100 (Here 73 is marks obtained by student and Max mark is 100) as it depends on course.  Similarly it can be 24/25 (here 24 is marks obtained and 25 is max marks).

But in the ONLINE IGNOU Grade card the marks are converted in to percentage format. The percentage is calculated for the paper/ Course and then marks are updated in ONLINE IGNOU grade card.

Max Marks column is not available in the IGNOU grade card, as mark is converted in percentage. However the Max Mark is available in the final printed Mark sheet / Grade card issued by the University. This final grade is printed and issued to learner only when they complete the entire course successfully.

Dispatch of Fresh Printed IGNOU Grade Card After Examination and Result.

Nowadays IGNOU prints and dispatches Marks Sheet / Grade Card only for the final Year/Semester student who has completed the entire course successfully. Remaining student can see the status of Grade Card online only.

Final Mark sheet / Grade Card will come along with provisional certificate for the learners who has completed programme successfully.

Generally, IGNOU dispatches the Mark sheet / Grade Card for the pass out learner after the 45 days of updation of marks in the Online Grade Card.

After the declaration of Term End Exam Result, it may take few days to reflect the marks in Online Grade Card.

IGNOU Extends June 2021 TEE Assignment Submission Deadline

The indira gandhi national open university (ignou) has extended the last date to submit assignments for the june term end examination (tee) 2021..

The Indira Gandhi National Open University ( IGNOU ) has extended the last date to submit assignments for the June Term End Examination (TEE) 2021. Learners can submit their assignments, project reports; internship, fieldwork journal, dissertation, etc for TEE June 2021 up to June 15, the university said. Earlier, the last date for submission of assignments was May 31.

“IGNOU extends the last date for submission of Assignments/Project Reports/Internship/Field Work Journal/Dissertation etc., for TEE, June 2021 up to 15th June, 2021,” the university tweeted on May 31.

Many learners were demanding for an extension of the assignment submission deadline, stating lack of resources due to COVID-19 lockdown. Some others had said they are affected by Cyclone Yaas and therefore require an extension.

Quoting some tweets, the institute on May 30 clarified that it is yet to extend the deadline.

“Please be advised that the university has not issued any notification with regard to extension of submission date for Assignments or Practicals for June 2021 Term End Examinations,” the IGNOU had said.

IGNOU's decision to extend the deadline has come as a relief to students. While some have a hilarious take on the university's decision, others are thankful.
