Greetings to everyone. My name is _____ and my topic for today’s evaluation is India of My Dreams. In my dreams, I hope to see India as a thriving nation where people are free and happy citizens. I hope to wake up to a developed India where issues like gender disparity, discrimination, social prejudice and economic despair are no longer hindrances to people’s growth and happiness. I look forward to technological advancement being in full force in India, along with a breakthrough in medical facilities. I wish to see a happy India and I hope to work for it. Check Out – Speech on Indian Education System

Good morning to everyone present. My name is ____ and I will be giving a speech on India of My Dreams for today’s assessment. India is a beautiful yet flawed country but in my dreams, India is so much more. India of my dreams is not flawed, it is not hindered by issues like poverty, violence, crime, insensitivity and prejudice. India of my dreams is the beacon of hope, progress, development and growth for its millions of citizens.

We can not achieve a flawless nation without addressing its problems. India, despite its immense development, is still one of the poorest nations in the world. The Indian education system has seen great developments yet we have the largest number of illiterates with young girls dropping out of school because of problems like poverty, social stigma, preference for sons, and lack of accessibility to schools and colleges. Moreover, I hope that there’s enough progress in technological advancement so that resources such as medical facilities can improve and pandemics such as COVID-19 can be managed with the right medical infrastructure.

India of my dreams is a safe place for women, unlike the current India where women are afraid to be independent. Indian public spaces need to be more safe and secure for women to walk freely whenever and wherever they want. India needs to safeguard the interests and rights of the minority so that we all progress together. Indian women need a voice, a political voice and proper representation so that they can affect change and bring policies that help other women. I hope one day we will eradicate these issues and live in peace.

India is a grand nation with multiple problems; caste, religion and class are some of the greatest issues in India. We must work towards a nation where insensitivity, intolerance and poverty have no space. We must take the work of our forefathers ahead and work towards a greater, more diverse and harmonious India where people are not divided by social conventions and stereotypes. I hope we can all work together and make India a great nation one day. Thank you.

Essay on India of My Dreams

Everyone has dreams to make his/her country big and democratically successful. A country where there is equality in all areas, and for all genders, it witnesses progress. Like others, I also have a dream for my India and the way it should be, so I can be proud to live and the coming generation too. Furthermore, a country where there is no discrimination of caste, color, gender, and economic status, sees development in a true sense. People in such countries also progress well in all senses.

Descriptive Essay India of My Dreams

The India of my dreams would be a country that is entirely self-sufficient in all areas. I want India to be technologically advanced, agriculturally advanced as well as scientifically better. Every barren land in the country, which has not witnessed crop in ages, would be cultivated for achieving food grains. I am proud of my country, where agriculture is the backbone and pushes the GDP ahead.

I am proud that I live in a country with so rich soil containing suitable minerals that help in agriculture and promote farming. Different states of India have different varieties of soil, such as Gujarat has black soil that is suitable for growing cotton, Kerala has soil that is suitable for rice cultivation, and so on. One of the best things that happened in the country was the Green Revolution, offering intensive agricultural programs for farmers.

Women Empowerment

My biggest dream is to see women’s empowerment in all areas. I am happy to see women are becoming independent and can take up family responsibilities. However, many things need to work for women’s empowerment, such as stopping female feticide, promoting safety and equality in the organisation, etc. In rural areas of India, there are still many cases of women feticide and physical attack, endangering a woman’s life.

The patriarchy is still in existence in many places in India, that needs to be taken into consideration. Several jobs are still not open for women. For things to change in a better way, along with the government and other citizens, women as a community should also normalise certain things to change the mindset of the people and the society. For instance, generally, everywhere, the delivery person that comes to our door are men. There are nearly zero women who accept such jobs. Instead, they choose to be a housewife, which should not be the ideal situation. Society should normalise things for women that men have done for decades. Various types of reservations are also provided in education or jobs to uplift women and encourage better participation.

Thankfully, the Indian government, along with NGOs and social groups, are working towards the safety and empowerment of women in India. I want women in my country to be free from social stigma and live independent lives.

Empowering Poor

The rich are becoming richer, and the poor are becoming poorer. The middle class has been standing in the same situation ever since. This should not be the ideal situation for India. The more this gap will be, the more our country and people will suffer. India of my dreams should be a place where poor people get empowerment, face no poverty, do not starve, and get the proper roof to live.

Poor kids should get an education, so they are confident in facing the world and living a successful life. There should be no gap between the rich and the poor. The national income should be distributed rationally among different sections of society. In my opinion, socialism is the only remedy that can help to overcome the problem.

Employment Opportunity

The India of my dream should be where every individual should get employment opportunities. People must have a decent job that offers good pay, which will help in fulfilling dreams. Unfortunately, many young people with great talent are unable to find the right job due to corruption, quota, and reference.

Reservation has been the major hindrance in the path of growth of deserving candidates. Many of the young experts end up shifting abroad for job opportunities, helping the growth of the GDP of the respective country. India of My dream is a place where the deserving candidate must get a job. A country where young experts get a proper job will certainly witness profitable growth of GDP.

No More Caste Discrimination

Right from independence until now, caste discrimination has been the major hurdle in the growth of Indian society. In many villages of the country, some people still face caste discrimination issues. It is certainly shameful to see how people are denied their rights due to the caste issue. Thankfully, certain social groups work hard to bring down caste discrimination and give equal opportunities to people.

Reservation is also the major factor in promoting caste discrimination. The deserving candidate, be it of any caste, has to suffer more, and the non-deserving ones, be it of any caste, get admission easily into top-notch colleges of India. Students shift abroad for their higher studies or their jobs. They think that the education system of India is not up to the mark and the employment industry is also not very welcoming to keep the students in their company.

I want India to be corrupt-free, which will help in the growth of the nation. One of the reasons the country, even after all these years, is not able to develop is because of the corruption practised by people. No matter how big or small the work is, you need to give the money to get it done.

However, there are government policies that strike hard on such people who look for a bribe to perform the task. I dream of a country where people perform a task without taking any bribes.

Good Infrastructure and Sanitation

I dream of India, which has good infrastructure and sanitation. There are many villages, which lack poor sanitation and infrastructure. The Government of India needs to work on these, so people get what they deserve. Adequate sanitation is very important; it helps people in the village, especially women, to avoid going to open places and face health issues.

The Indian defence forces should be equipped with technologically advanced weapons. All the three military units, the army, the navy, and the air force, should be given extra attention by the government of India as the defence force of any nation is the most significant part of any country. The soldiers should be well-trained and have enough facilities, especially those serving at the borders.

India of my dream should be an ideal country, which I can be proud of and live with confidence. I want the coming generation to have a better life and get everything they deserve for living in this country. I want my country to be politically sound and unbiased, the democracy of my country to be the strongest and successful. Corruption should be eliminated from every aspect of our lives.

Taxes should be practically and judicially imposed, the difference between rich and poor should be eliminated, and there should not be any kind of inequalities. This dream nation should be the dream of every citizen living here, and then only the desired result will be seen. Every citizen should work and act accordingly so that our future generation will be proud of the nation they are born in, and the other countries of the world will take inspiration from India.

Many obstacles make this country less self-reliant. The first thing is the high tax levied by the government. There are taxes an individual needs to pay for running a business, and most of the profit is taken away by the taxes. People take a step back to invest in the business. Essay on India of My Dreams for Students and Children

500 words essay on india of my dreams.

India is a country where people of all cultures and religions coexist together. I suppose that each of us has dreamt about some version of India. Obviously, we may dream about anything at any time, and as Indian citizens, we are continuously looking for methods to improve our country and see a better India. Peace and prosperity are my hopes for our great country. India will be a great country when every citizen follows the rule of law, supports the nation with their families, and does something to make India a better place.

The India of my dream would be a country where women are safe and walk freely on road. Also, it will be a place where there is freedom of equality to all and everyone can enjoy it in their true sense. Furthermore, it would be a place where there is no discrimination of caste, color, gender , creed, social or economic status, and race. In addition, I see it as a place that sees an abundance of development and growth.

Essay on India of My Dreams

How can we make our dream India possible?

If we collectively look into everything, we will be able to identify the causes and solutions to all of the world’s problems. Similarly, building a great nation and resolving its deep-rooted problems is an attainable goal. India must have the following characteristics in order to become a Great Country:

  • Law That Is Just and Effective
  • Society of Peace
  • Equality of opportunity for everyone
  • Uncorrupted systems
  • Unbiased educational system

When these things become a reality, the entire country will take notice, and everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy a healthy and prosperous life. That is why we must all work together to bring about change in our country and contribute to improving people’s lives. Every person must work with their family and society, as well as support our government, which is also doing its bit by providing adequate education, transportation, food for everybody, and employment opportunities to all segments of society.

Technological Advancement

I would like to see India become more scientifically, technologically, and agriculturally sophisticated. I want to see an India where rationality and scientific ideas triumph over blind faith and bigotry. Because the present age is the age of science and information technology, I would like to bring India to the pinnacle of scientific and technical advancement. Scientific and technological developments are required since they are a critical stepping stone in the development of a country.

Women Empowerment

There is a lot of discrimination against women. But, still, the women are stepping out of their houses and making a mark on different fields and on society. In addition, there are a lot of areas that need to be worked upon whether it is female feticide or restricting them to the household task. Besides, many NGO and social groups have come forward to promote women empowerment .

However, we have to work hard to change the mindset of society. I dream of India as a country that sees women as its assets, not as liabilities. Also, I want to place women on an equal level as men.

Though there are many initiatives by the government to promote education. But there are many people who do not realize its true importance. The India of my dream will be a place where education will be mandatory for all.

I wish there were no uneducated people in India of my dreams. I would like to see India implement a system of education that allows every individual to earn a living. In my dream India, I would like the people of my country to appreciate the value of education and to encourage their children to pursue school rather than working in menial professions at a young age.

Employment Opportunities

Although there are many educated people in India. But, due to corruption and many other reasons they are unable to get a decent job. Besides, there are many employment opportunities in the country but they are either limited or don’t pay well enough. One of the reasons for this is weak industrial growth in the country.

In addition, reservation is a hindrance in this path as most of the deserving candidates lose their good opportunities because of it. Many of these deserving candidates go abroad and work for the economic growth of other countries . The Indian of My dream will be a place where the deserving candidate will get the job first rather than reserved candidates.

Caste Discrimination

Though India got independence in 1947, still we are not able to get complete independence from caste, religion, and creed discrimination. It is shameful to see how in certain parts of the country the people of the lower section of the society are denied the basic rights .

However, there are various social groups that speak for their rights and help them to oppose this oppression. Besides, I dream of an India where there is no discrimination of any kind.

Corruption is one of the major reasons that are hindering the growth of the nation . Instead of making an effort to serve the growth of the country the officials and politicians are busy filling their own pockets. So, I dream of an India where the minister and official are dedicated to their work and wholly for the development of the country.

A big number of well-educated persons appear to be unemployed as a result of politicians’ severe corruption and harshness. Because of the reservation system, the majority of deserving individuals have been denied the opportunity. My hope for India is that deserving applicants, not reserved candidates, receive the correct jobs. I would also like to see India become a place where the government’s primary focus is on the benefit of the country.

In conclusion, the India of my dream will be an ideal country where every citizen will be equal. Also, there is no discrimination of any type. In addition, it will be a place where women are seen as equals to men and respected equally.

Gender Discrimination and Inequality

It’s terrible to see how, despite showing themselves in every aspect of life, women are still regarded as inferior to males. My ideal India will be one in which women are protected in all circumstances, good or bad. There will be no more torture, domestic violence, or male dominance over women. Women will be able to pursue their dreams with greater freedom. In my future country, they should be treated equally and have the right to care. It would be a location where the safety of women would be of the first importance.

Medical Support

The sole goal of the medical profession shall be to protect people free from discomfort and sickness, with proper regard and respect for age and with all due consideration for the health of all the best medical facilities available. Not for profit, but for the sake of service. The elderly would be properly cared for, and life would appear to be worth living for as long as they lived. People in my ideal country would be born healthy, hopeful, and happy, and they would live happily ever after.

The government is transparent, accountable and responsive to the needs of its citizens. In this India, every person is free to pursue their aspirations without any fear or discrimination. 200 Words Essay On India Of My Dreams

The India of my dreams is a nation where every individual is able to reach their full potential and contribute to the collective progress of the country. This India is free from poverty, hunger, and homelessness. Every citizen has access to quality education, healthcare, and job opportunities. The government is transparent, accountable, and responsive to the needs of its citizens. The environment is well-protected, and the country is a leader in sustainable development.

To achieve this vision, we must prioritize the needs of the most marginalized members of society. This includes providing access to education, healthcare, and other essential services for disadvantaged communities. We must also address systemic issues such as corruption and inequality, and work towards building a just and fair society for all.

Furthermore, investing in infrastructure development, including transportation, energy, and communication systems, is crucial. This will not only improve the quality of life for all Indians but also drive economic growth and development. Additionally, sustainable development and protection of natural resources must be given the highest priority for the benefit of future generations.

I am convinced that with the right efforts and policies, we can create the India of our dreams. A nation where every individual can lead a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life. 500 Words Essay on India of My Dreams

In the India of my dreams, every person has access to quality education and healthcare, the economy is strong and provides opportunities for all, and the government is transparent and accountable to the people. However, there are also challenges that go against this vision, such as the recent passing of the Citizenship Amendment Act and the ongoing issues of discrimination and violence towards women and religious minorities. Additionally, the current Indian economy is facing challenges such as high unemployment rates and a lack of sustainable development. To make the India of my dreams a reality, it is crucial to address these challenges and work towards creating a nation where every person is able to lead a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life.

My Contributions

As a young college student, I always felt a sense of responsibility to give back to my community and make a difference in the world. So, when I heard about an opportunity to work with an NGO focused on improving the lives of underprivileged children in rural India, I knew it was something I had to pursue.

I joined the NGO as a volunteer and was immediately struck by the dire living conditions of the children and their families. Many of them had no access to basic necessities like clean water, healthcare, and education. I was determined to make a difference and began working tirelessly to raise awareness about their plight and to secure funding for various projects.

One of our main initiatives was to build a school in a remote village that had no access to education. It was a challenging task, but with the support of local leaders and the community, we were able to secure the funding and resources needed to construct the school. The school opened its doors to the children, and it was a truly heartwarming sight to see the excitement and hope on their faces as they walked through the doors of their new school.

We also focused on providing access to clean water and sanitation facilities for the community. We drilled wells and installed hand pumps, and also constructed toilets and bathrooms. This greatly improved the overall health and wellbeing of the community and it was very satisfying to see the positive impact of our efforts.

In addition to these projects, we also provided medical assistance to the community by setting up a free clinic, providing regular check-ups and vaccinations. We also provided vocational training and job opportunities to the youth.

Working with the NGO was an incredibly rewarding experience, and I am proud of the difference that we were able to make in the lives of the children and their families. It was a challenging journey, but it has shown me the power of hard work, determination and the positive impact that one person can make when they work towards a common goal.

Now, as I look back on my time with the NGO, I feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that I was able to make a difference and contribute to the betterment of the nation. I believe that the work of NGOs can be a powerful force for change and I hope to continue to be involved in this kind of work in the future, to make a difference to the nation.

India of My Dreams Essay

500+ words essay on india of my dreams.

All of us love our country and have a strong attachment to this ancient land of ours. We want to see a prosperous and happy India. Each one of us has a dream of how India should develop and progress. Just as Jawaharlal Nehru, our first Prime Minister had said at the time of independence that he had to solve 300 million problems (the population of India at that time); similarly, each one of us may have thought about the “India of my dreams”. The Father of our Nation, Mahatma Gandhi also expressed his thoughts on this topic. Now, their thoughts are published in the form of a book named “India of my Dreams”. Here, we have provided an Essay on India of My Dreams which is a sample essay. Students can take ideas from this essay and then write an Essay on India of their dreams by putting their own thoughts into words.

India of My Dreams

The India of my dreams will be a place full of peace and harmony. People will be filled with compassion, happiness and enthusiasm. I see an India where each individual will have a strong value system, where all human beings are equal. Everyone will have his or her role in the governance of the country directly as well as indirectly. I dream of an India which has people who are self-contained, self-reliant communities with truthful and transparent lives with good health, education and lives.

I dream of India as a country where everyone has access to education. There are children who belong to poor families and cannot afford education because of the costs of education. For such children, education should be provided freely. Moreover, education should be provided irrespective of gender discrimination. The girl child should be given equal opportunities similar to the boy child.

Women Empowerment

The India of my dreams includes women who are respected everywhere. They have power and rights equal to men. They are treated as an extremely important member of the family where they can take decisions and have financial independence. They must get a safe environment where they don’t have to worry about crimes such as rape, physical assault, kidnapping, acid attack, domestic violence, dowry system, sexual harassment at the workplace, etc. They must feel safe and protected so that they can utilise their full potential and energy in the right direction. This would enable them to showcase their talent and thus contribute to the development of the nation.

Corruption-Free India

Corruption is the biggest hurdle in the path of the development of our country. If our government and political system become corruption-free, then our country will develop fast. The bribery system will come to an end and all bureaucrats will function with integrity and accountability. Every government servant will take responsibility for their work. So, the India of my dream will be corruption free.

Employment Opportunities

Creating employment opportunities for youth is one of the key factors that contribute to the development of a nation. India which I dream of should have enormous opportunities for youth so they can be easily employed. There should be jobs in every sector so that one can work in the area of his/her interest. In this way, India will reach great heights.

Clean, Green and Pollution-Free Environment

The India of my dreams will be clean, green and healthy for everyone. People will enjoy the greenery, fresh air and pollution-free environment. The highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene will be maintained in the India of my dreams. Citizens will actively participate in making India clean so everyone gets a healthy environment.

This is my India — a great country, a land of peace, prosperity and truthfulness where no one is afraid of speaking the truth and where there is no corruption. It will be a country where women are respected and people from all religions coexist and where every citizen is proud to be an Indian. It will be a country free from violence, terrorism, hunger and suffering.

Politically, India of my dreams would be a successful democracy where all have equal rights and equal opportunities in life. Elections would be held for forming governments but voters would cast their votes for policies and programs meant for the welfare of the masses and not on caste. If a party with a program for general welfare comes to power, it would really and genuinely work for the welfare of the people. After getting into power the leaders would only think of the welfare of all people and not on the basis of who voted for them and who did not. It would be the government for all people irrespective of party, caste, or religion.

Corruption would be an unheard-of thing in India of my dreams. As it is happening today, corruption is like a canker which is eating into the vitals of our political and social life. Not only lacs but crores are being siphoned away from the amount meant for welfare schemes. That is such a black spot on the face of the country. This black spot would stand erased in India of my dreams. Money for the people taxes would be levied in a judicious manner, no one would try to evade them; pay the taxes as they need to be paid and then the national income thus generated would be totally used for the benefit and welfare of the people.

Essay on India of My Dreams

There would be none naked; none starving, none without a proper roof in India of my dreams. Agriculture would grow, the granaries would be full and there would be enough for all to eat. There would be control overpopulation voluntarily imposed by the people over themselves. They would know the value of a planned family.

Education would be available to all and all would avail of this. Education means enlightenment and that is what the people of my India would get. They easily could match the people of any other country in the matter of enlightenment and information.

The industry would develop but not at the cost of general health. There would be no pollution created by the industries — they would use means to control pollution. Cottage industries would be encouraged to give to the rural population incentive to add to their income. Handicrafts would grow and their marketing would also be properly managed. The income would go to the artisan.

Below we have given a short essay on India Of My Dreams is for Classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. This short essay on the topic is suitable for students of class 6 and below.

India of my dreams shall have a strong military power as strong as of any other nation; so that none dare challenge my India’s integrity and boundaries. Even the common citizen would be possessed with the civic sense and possess a pride for his nation. Socially India of my dreams would be secular but every religion and every faith shall have full freedom to function independently each one having regard and tolerance for the other. A social concord and cooperation and a sense of brotherhood among all shall be the hallmark of my India’s social set up.

Regard and respect for age, all due consideration for the health of all the best medical facilities available, to keep people free from distress and disease shall be the sole aim of the medical profession. Not for profit but for service that would be the line on which the medical men would work. The aged would receive due care and as long as they live, life for them would appear worth living. Healthy at birth, hopeful in youth and happiness in old age that would be the way of life of people in the country of my dreams.

Health, Wealth, and Wisdom — these would be the keywords of life. How pleasant would be the day when dreams as above would be fulfilled and realized.

Everyone in this world has a dream. One always makes plans about the future. I too dream of an India that is perfect. It would be an India in which there would be no racism, communalism, and regionalism. First of all, I would root out communalism, whatever its shape or form may be. All such tendencies which fan the forces of separatism and disruption would be eliminated. An Essay of India of My Dreams is given below.

“You have to Drema before your dreams can come true”.

Long And Short Essay On India Of My Dreams 500 Words for Kids and Students In English

I want India to be scientifically advanced, technologically better and agriculturally advanced. I would like to build an India where logic and scientific ideas would prevail over blind faith and fanaticism. Crude emotionalism and coarse sentimentalism would never rule. I would like to bring India to the apex of scientific and technological progress because the modern age is the age of science and information technology. Every country which wants to prosper and progress must give due importance to science and information technology, otherwise, it cannot achieve a good standard of living for its citizens.

The India of my dreams would be an India that is self-sufficient in food. All the barren lands would be cultivated for achieving self-sufficiency in food-grains. Agriculture would be given special attention because agriculture is the backbone of the Indian economy. Another green revolution would be brought about by launching intensive agricultural programmes and farmers would be asked to use better seeds and fertilisers as well as modern tools and implements.

Next, I would like the country to be highly industrialised. This is the age of industrialisation and in this age, the country should be taken to the zenith of progress and prosperity.

I would also strengthen India’s defence. The country would be so strong that no enemy would ever dare cast his covetous eyes on the sacred soil of India. Defence and security of the country would be of paramount importance. For achieving this objective, the country would be equipped with all the paraphernalia of modern defence because people worship military power in the present world. We have proved during the Kargil war that we are second to none but we would have to work harder for military supremacy.

Elimination of ignorance and illiteracy would be my next priorities because these are banes for any society. People would be educated on a mass-scale. Then, the system of democracy could be more pragmatic. Individual liberty and freedom would be defined and granted in the letter as well as spirit.

Another thing, which I would like to see in the India of my dreams, would be the abridgment of the gap between the rich and the poor. National income would be distributed rationally among all sections of society. Provision of food, housing, and clothing to one and all would be given top priority in the India of my dreams. For achieving and accomplishing this, socialism would be the only remedy which, if practiced sincerely, would usher India into an era of economic equality.

If these measures are taken with utmost sincerity, India would soon be counted among the most powerful countries of the world and would also guide those countries that are still slaves of big powers. It would be an India that Rabindranath Tagore described in his lines:

“Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high, where knowledge is free where the world has not been broken up into fragments, by narrow domestic walls.”

India of My Dreams Essay

Short Essay On India Of My Dreams 250 Words

India enjoys a rich cultural heritage. People belonging to various castes, creeds, and religions live peacefully in this country. However, there are certain groups of people that try to incite people to serve their vested interests thereby hampering peace in the country. I dream of an India that is devoid of such divisive tendencies. It should be a place where different ethnic groups live in perfect harmony with each other.

I also dream of India as being a nation where every citizen is educated. I want the people of my country to understand the importance of education and ensure that their children seek education rather than indulging in menial jobs at a tender age. Adults who have missed a chance to study during their childhood must also join adult education classes to seek education in order to find a better job for themselves.

I want the government to provide equal employment opportunities for all so that the youth get deserving jobs and contribute towards the growth of the nation. I want the country to become technologically advanced and see growth in all the sectors. Lastly, I want India to be a country where women are treated with respect and are given equal opportunities as men.

Short Essay On India Of My Dreams In 300 Words

India is a multi-cultural, multi-lingual and multi-religious society that has seen steady progress in various spheres over the last century. I dream of India that progresses at an even greater pace and joins the list of the developed countries in no time. Here are the key areas that need attention in order to make it a better place:

  • Education and Employment:  I dream of India where every citizen is educated and is able to find a deserving employment opportunity. No one can stop the growth and development of a nation full of educated and talented individuals.
  • Caste and Religious Issues:  India of my dreams would be a place where people would not be discriminated against on the basis of their caste or religion. This would go a long way in strengthening the nation.
  • Industrial and Technological Growth:  While India has seen both industrial and technological growth in the past few decades, it is still not at par with many other countries. I dream of India that advances technologically and sees a boom in every sector.
  • Corruption:  There is a lot of corruption in the country and its rate is only growing by the day. The common man is suffering at the hands of corrupt politicians who are only interested in fulfilling their own selfish motives. I dream of India that is free from corruption at all levels. It would be a place where the betterment of the country would be the sole agenda of the government.
  • Gender Discrimination:  It is sad to see how even after proving themselves in every sphere of life women are still considered to be inferior to men. I dream of India where there is no gender discrimination. It would be a place where men and women are treated as equals.

Lastly, I want India to be a country where women are treated with respect and are given equal opportunities as men.

Dreams of India Essay 2 (300 words)

India is a multi-cultural, multi-lingual, and multi-religious society that has seen steady progress in various spheres over the last century. I dream of India that progresses at an even greater pace and joins the list of developed countries in no time. Here are the key areas that need attention in order to make it a better place:

Education and Employment

I dream of India, where every citizen is educated and is able to find a deserving employment opportunity. No one can stop the growth and development of a nation full of educated and talented individuals.

Caste and Religious Issues

India of my dreams would be a place where people would not be discriminated against on the basis of their caste or religion. This would go a long way in strengthening the nation.

Industrial and Technological Growth

While India has seen industrial and technological growth in the past few decades, it is still not at par with many other countries. I dream of India that advances technologically and sees a boom in every sector.

There is a lot of corruption in the country, and its rate is only growing by the day. The common man is suffering at the hands of corrupt politicians who are only interested in fulfilling their own selfish motives. I dream of India that is free from corruption at all levels. It would be where the betterment of the country would be the sole agenda of the government.

Gender Discrimination

It is sad to see that even after proving themselves in every sphere of life, women are still considered inferior to men. I dream of India, where there is no gender discrimination. It would be a place where men and women are treated as equals.

In short, the India of my dreams would be where people feel happy and secure and enjoy a good quality of life.

India of My Dreams Essay 3 (400 words)

India is proud to be home to people of different castes, creeds, and religions. The country is known for its rich culture and unity in diversity. It has also seen a boom in various industries over the past few decades. However, we still have a long way to go. Here are some of the areas that we need to work on in order to make it an ideal nation:

There is a lot of economic disparity in the country. The rich here are becoming richer, and the poor are becoming poorer by the day. I dream of India, where wealth is equally distributed among the citizens.

Lack of education is one of the main hindrances to the growth of the nation. The government is making efforts to spread awareness about the importance of education. However, it should also take steps to ensure that each and every person in the country seeks education.

There is a lack of good employment opportunities in the country. Even those who well-qualified fail to get deserving jobs. The unemployed highly dissatisfied, and they often take the road to crime. I dream of India that provides equal employment opportunities for all so that each of us works for the growth and betterment of our country.

Casteism is another major issue that needs to be worked upon. India of my dreams would be a place where people are not discriminated against based on their caste, creed, or religion.

India of my dreams would a place where women are given due respect and treated as being equal to men. It would be where women’s safety would be of utmost importance.

I dream of India as being a place free of corruption. It would a place where the political leaders would dedicated to serving the countries rather than fulfilling their own selfish motifs.

Technological Growth

India has seen rapid growth in the field of technology. I want it to grow at an even greater pace and attain newer heights to make its place among the first-rate countries.

I dream of India, where people of different castes, creeds, religions, ethnic groups, and economic/ social statuses live in perfect harmony with each other. There should be fair play, and government must ensure equal employment opportunities for all its citizens.

India of My Dreams Essay 4 (500 words)

India of my dreams would a country where freedom of equality enjoyed in its true sense. It would a place where no discrimination is done on the basis of a person’s caste, creed, religion, or social/economic status. I also dream of it as a place that sees an abundance of industrial and technological growth. Here are some of the areas that particularly require attention:

Women Empowerment

Though more and more women are stepping out of their homes and making a mark in different fields, there is still a lot of discrimination against women in our country. From female foeticide to restricting women to household tasks, there a lot of areas that need to worked upon. Many non-profit organizations have come forward to promote women’s empowerment. However, we still have to work a lot on changing the mindset of society. I dream of India that sees women as an asset, not a liability. I want it to be where men and women treated as equals.

Though the government of India is making efforts to promote the significance of seeking education, many people in the country still don’t realize its importance. India of my dreams would be a place where education made mandatory for all. The government must go further to ensure that no child in the country is devoid of education.

Employment Opportunities

Many qualified youths in the country fail to get good employment opportunities. The opportunities limited or do not pay enough to the deserving candidates. This is mainly because of weak industrial growth. Other factors, such as reservations, prevent deserving candidates from getting good opportunities. Many youths who fail to get good employment opportunities in India fly abroad and put their minds to work for other countries’ economic growth, while others roam around unemployed.

Caste Discrimination

The country is still not completely free of discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, and religion. It is sad to see how people belonging to the lower and weaker sections are even denied their basic rights in certain parts of the country. Besides, various fundamentalist and separatist groups provoke people to propagate their religion and talk ill about others. This often leads to unrest in the country. I dream of India, where people not discriminated against based on caste and religion.

Corruption is one of the main reasons why India cannot grow at the speed it should. Instead of making an effort to serve the country, the political leaders here are busy filling their own pockets. I dream of India, where the ministers dedicated wholly and solely to the country’s and its citizens’ development.

India of my dreams would be a country that sees all its citizens as equal and does not discriminate against them based on any criteria. I dream of a place where women respected and seen as equal to men. I also want India to see advancements in science, technology, agriculture, and education in the times to come.

India of My Dreams Essay 5 (600 words)

India is where people belonging to different ethnic groups, castes, and religions live amicably. It boasts of a rich, variegated cultural heritage. Though colonized for a long time, India has come a long way since its independence. It has seen huge social and economic growth over the last couple of decades. However, the county has a lot of economic and social disparity. People also looked down upon because of their caste and religious preferences in many parts of the country. India of my dreams would be where every citizen enjoys true freedom of equality.

Areas of Improvement

There are a number of areas that our country still needs to work upon in order to grow and develop further. Here is a look at the four key areas that require immediate attention:

Education is the building block for any nation. One of the major drawbacks in our country is that people still do not recognize the importance of education. Those living in poverty or below the poverty line particularly overlook the importance of getting educated. They do not realize that lack of education is one of the main factors responsible for their poverty. The Government is taking steps to ensure that more and more people have access to education by promoting the right of free and compulsory education for children and by opening adult education schools. India of my dreams would a place where every citizen educated and skilled.

Gender discrimination another issue that needs to worked upon. While women are becoming aware of their rights and are doing well in various fields, they still have to fight many odds to make their place in society. The birth of a girl child still considered a curse in many parts of the country. Girls not encouraged to go for higher studies. Even those who well-qualified expected to look after their family post-marriage rather than working outside. At work, the wages paid to women are lesser than that paid to men, and the list of discrimination goes on. I dream of an India that is devoid of discrimination against women.

Technological Advancement

While India has seen a lot of growth and advancement in science and technology, it still requires working harder in this sphere. It is sad to see how genius minds from the country fly abroad to seek employment opportunities and contribute to those countries’ technological and industrial advancements rather than contributing to the development of their own country. I dream of India that offers good employment opportunities to deserving individuals and together all work towards the further technological advancement of the country.

The crime rate in India is growing by the day. Numerous rape, robbery, dowry, and murder cases reported daily, and many others go unnoticed/unreported. Lack of education, unemployment, and poverty majorly attributed to this. India of my dreams would be a country where the government is more sensitive toward the safety and security of the people. It would be a place free from all kinds of crime and exploitation.

India has seen rapid industrial growth, technological advancement, and progress in several other fields over the last few decades. However, there is still a lot of scope for improvement. India was once called the golden sparrow because of the prosperity it enjoyed. I want the country to attain that glory yet again. I do not want it to enjoy just economic richness but also become richer culturally and socially. All the citizens of the country must treated equally, and there should no discrimination or injustice.

Key Points To Remember: Essay On India Of My Dreams For Lower Primary Classes

10 lines on ‘india of my dreams’ for kids, a paragraph on ‘india of my dreams’ for children, short essay on ‘india of my dreams’ in 200 words for kids, long essay on ‘india of my dreams’ for children, what will your child learn from an essay on india of my dreams.

Children are very imaginative and creative. When given topics like “India Of My Dreams” for essay writing, they visualise what they feel is the best for the future of the country. This essay writing assignment in English for classes 1, 2 and 3 provides numerous advantages to children. To begin with, it helps their brain function in a certain way as they process small details to write about the assigned topic. Children attempt to organise their ideas on paper and develop phrases to explain their thoughts. This action gradually broadens their vocabulary by allowing them to discover new terms. As a child, writing essays increases observation. Children construct simple phrases that serve as the foundation for their language abilities and grammar. Essay writing helps children develop their writing skills while improving their memory and inventiveness. Essay writing also allows children to express themselves creatively.

There are certain things that a kid needs to keep in mind while writing an essay about the India of their dreams. Here are some of the key points:

  • Begin the essay with an introduction that outlines the topic and sets a stage for the rest of the essay.
  • Use different paragraphs for each topic.
  • Identify all the key points/topics that you’d like to discuss and use them as subheadings.
  • Elaborate on the subheadings in detail to explain your views on each of the topics.
  • Include specific actions the government can take to improve the current situation and make it the India of your dreams.
  • End the essay with an appropriate conclusion.

Writing an essay on a topic like India Of My Dreams can be challenging and confusing for kids. Here are 10 lines that can be used in an essay for classes 1 and 2.

  • I fantasise about the country of my dreams, hoping that my fantasies may come true. Dreams may not be real, but there is no harm in thinking about the ideal and making efforts to accomplish it.
  • Politically, the India of my aspirations would be a strong and prosperous democracy with equal rights for all citizens.
  • There would be no corruption. Taxes would be imposed and paid honestly.
  • There will be no problems like hunger and poverty, and everyone will have access to food, clothing, and shelter.
  • There will be facilities for education for everyone.
  • National wealth will be utilised fairly.
  • Industries will progress but avoid pollution.
  • My ideal India would have a strong military and no one would dare to cross its borders.
  • My dream India will have tolerance and respect for all religions and faiths.
  • Every citizen should have free access to medical and healthcare facilities.

To give an idea about how children can write their essays, here is a paragraph on India of my dream for classes 1 and 2.

We are proud of India’s rich culture and heritage because India is an ancient country. We are also pleased with our secular democracy and growth. My ambition is for India to become a country free of corruption and to become an economically powerful country. I want my people to become the world’s most powerful economic force, free of poverty. Furthermore, I want our country to take the lead in delivering world peace and technological development. But we don’t see that happening in the current scenario. If we want to realise this dream, we must act now.

I imagine India as a country in which every individual is educated. I visualise that the people of my country recognise the value of education and encourage their children to pursue it rather than engage in menial labour at a young age. Adults who did not have the opportunity to study throughout their childhood must now do so through adult education classes.

India has a diverse cultural history. People of many castes, creeds, and faith coexist harmoniously in my country. India should always remain a place where diverse people of many diverse backgrounds coexist peacefully.

I want the government to give fair work opportunities for everyone so that the deserving youth can contribute to the nation’s progress. I want to see the country become more technologically proficient and grow in all areas. Finally, I want India to be a country where women are respected and given equal opportunities.

A long essay for class 3 children should consist of an introduction followed by the points they’d like to cover in a subheading format. Elaborate on each of the subheadings and end the essay with a conclusion.

My ideal India would be a place where freedom and equality are fully realised. It would be a place where no one is discriminated against because of their caste, creed, religion, or socio-economic standing. I also imagine it as a place with a lot of industrial and technological development. Here are a few of the areas that require special attention:

1. Education

Education is the foundation of any country. One of our country’s fundamental flaws is that people still do not understand the value of education. Those who are poor or living below the poverty level sometimes do not get the benefits of education. The government is taking steps to guarantee that more people have access to education by promoting the fundamental right of children to free and compulsory education and building adult education schools. My ideal India is one in which every citizen is educated and skilled.

2. An environment that is absolutely clean, green, and pollution-free

My ideal India will be clean, green, and safe for everyone. People will appreciate the lush vegetation, clean air, and pollution-free surroundings. India of my dreams will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Citizens will take an active role in cleaning up India so that everyone can live in a healthy environment.

I dream about an India with good infrastructure and cleanliness. Many settlements suffer from inadequate sanitation and infrastructure. The Indian government needs to focus on these issues so that people get what they deserve. Sanitation is critical because it allows people in the community, particularly women, to avoid developing health problems.

3. Corruption

Corruption is the underlying hurdle of our country’s development problems. Our country will flourish quickly if our government and political system are free of corruption. The bribery system will be abolished, and all bureaucrats will be held to a higher standard of ethics and accountability. Every government employee will be accountable for their work. As a result, the India of my dreams will be free of corruption.

4. Women empowerment

Women are valued everywhere in the India of my dreams. They have equal power and rights. They are considered a vital member of the family, with the ability to make decisions and have financial autonomy. They must be provided with a secure atmosphere free of crimes when they are outside, or at the workplace and even at home. They will receive equal wages as their male counterparts. They must feel comfortable and secure to channel their entire potential and energy into productive endeavours. This would allow them to use their skills and contribute to the nation’s progress.

5. Technological advancement

While our country has made a lot of progress in the realm of science and technology, it still has to strive more in this area. It is terrible to watch how brilliant minds from the country leave the country in search of work and contribute to the technological and industrial accomplishments of other countries rather than contributing to the growth of their own. I imagine an India that provides good job opportunities to qualified folks and where people work together to improve the country’s technological growth.

My ideal country should be one that I can be proud of and live in with confidence. I want the next generation to have a better life and to receive what they deserve in this country.

Through this essay in English on India Of My Dreams, your child will be instilled with patriotism and optimism for their own and the country’s future. It will also open up your child to think creatively about how their country can make progress, which will in turn make them consider the different ways in which they can contribute to making India the country of their dreams.

An essay about India is a great way for you to instil a sense of love, responsibility, and hope for the motherland in your child from a young age.

Essay on “The India of My Dreams” for School, College Students, Long and Short English Essay, Speech for Class 10, Class 12, College and Competitive Exams.

The India of My Dreams

Now it is more than fifty-seven years since we got freedom. When the British ruled India, we ascribed all our ills to their administration. Now we notice corruption, violence, communalism and exploitation in every field. Fissiparous tendencies have also become very active. The majority of the people are still living in poverty. A minority lives in luxury. Their greed for money continues unabated. Where is the ‘Ram Rajya’ cherished by the father of the nation?

In the India of my dreams there will be a true socialistic society. All means of production and distribution will be under the ownership of the State. The workers will get reasonable wages and they will be given all incentives to step up production. There will be a perfect Public Distribution System. There will not be any black-market or hoarding. No individual shall have wealth exceeding this ceiling. At present, the market economy gives sufficient scope for capitalists to make money by unfair mean. Thus, the word ‘Socialist’ added to the preamble of the Constitution by the 42nd Amendment will be fully implemented.

In the India of my dreams, there will be radical changes in the system of education. Admission to colleges will be on the basis of entrance tests. Great importance will be attached to job-oriented education. There will be a number of technical and vocational schools. In these schools boys and girls will be given training for various trades.

There will be no unemployment. Every able-bodied person will get the job for which he is qualified. Due importance will be attached to education. For the successful working of democracy, educated citizens are absolutely necessary. In some countries like Japan, 98 per cent of the people are educated.

The parents shall send their children to school at the age of six. There will be School-Attendance Officers, as in the United Kingdom. On the basis of the reports submitted by these officers, legal action will taken against those parents who do not send their children to school. For this purpose, necessary legislation will be carried out by Parliament.

The villages will be prosperous. Gandhiji thought that the prosperity of India depended on the prosperity of our villages. Small and big industries will be started in the villages. If this is done, the migration of the villagers to cities and towns for employment can be checked to a great extent.

The women have a good and equal status in society. Fifty per cent of the posts in the various departments of the government will be reserved for women. The system of the government will be reserved for women. The system of dowry will have disappeared. There will not be any atrocity on women.

In the India of my dreams, every Indian will be a true patriot. He will be a disciplined person. He will work hard for the prosperity and integrity of the nation. A united India alone can achieve progress.

Corruption will have disappeared from public life. Those who are found guilty of corruption will get suitable punishment. The eradication of corruption will be achieved by the creation of Ombudsmen, committees with semi-legal powers, directly in touch with the government. Such committees have become very popular in countries like Sweden.

Family planning will be made compulsory. But no force will be used to implement this. All our efforts at economic development will be retarded if there is population explosion. When Adam and Eve were driven out of Paradise, God said, “Go and multiply”. I think we Indians have multiplied too fast.

In the international field India will continue to follow the path of non-alignment. She will cry down any attempt made by any country to subjugate human rights and human dignity.

India had many dreams for their country, some of which would have certainly come true. I, Rohan Mehta, often think about my ‘dream’ India too, and I would like to tell you something about it.

In the India of my dreams, there would be no poverty. Every Indian would be able to live a comfortable life. Every single person would be literate and the pursuit and acquisition of knowledge would be open to all, irrespective of caste, creed or religion. English Summary

1 Minute Speech On The India Of My Dreams In English

Good morning to one and all present here. Today, I’ll be giving a short speech on the topic of the India of my Dreams.

This India would have found the cure for most diseases, including cancer. Everyone would easily have access to the best medical treatment without having to go abroad.

Most importantly, the India of my dreams would be truly ‘secular’ in every sense of the word. No more will there be riots between two religions and neither will they be politicized. Caste hierarchy and quotas for the same would be a thing of the past.

Lastly, in such an India, women will be able to freely walk during the night.

India of My Dreams

“Be proud that you are an Indian: I proudly claim I am an Indian, every Indian is my brother”

— Swami Vivekananda

The contemporary population of India cannot assert this. I following a stretched spell of the British rule, India attained independence in 1947.

The Britishers left no stone unturned to demolish the culture of India. They anglicised our culture, distorted our history and divided our country into two parts. Although after over 60 years of Independence. there have been many changes and innovations which India can be proud of, yet our society which evolved in the modern era, has started accommodating certain wrong practices as well as a way of life.

India of my dreams is full with new drastic changes that led to the upliftment of our nation and its emergence as a prime superpower with negligible curses India of my dreams will be free from the epidemic of overpopulation. This curse is distorting our country’s image on world map. India of my dreams realises the importance of the assumption that small family is happy one, but large is jam-packed with troubles. Family planning and population control will be given top precedence as unless the problem of ever increasing numbers is resolved the other problems allied with it, linger on. Corruption-free nation is also one of my dreams of India because this evil is eating the roots of our country and making it hollow. Corruption, nepotism and dishonesty have pervaded every fabric of our social living.

Right from the peon to the ministers, the whole system has become moth-eaten. In my India, the lesson of honesty and moral values must be taught to the students because they represent the true potentials of our country. Persons of sturdy temperament should be engaged in all the spheres of governance. The Government employees must be told to resist any temptation while discharging their duties and those among them who follow such an instruction must be encouraged and honoured in public. Dishonest persons should not only be dismissed but should be publicly fogged and put behind the bars because no person is permissible to play with my nation’s esteem.

The most precious gift of God to human being is his birth. We sometimes feel like starting to re-live our childhood days when we were free from tensions and work pressure, but can we have the same feeling while speaking of a problem like child labour? We all know the answer. So India of my dreams will be one where children are allowed to be children—studying, playing, laughing and not working in the darkness of ignorance. For building that India, 100 per cent literacy is necessary with free education to all the students up to 12th standard. Especially those who are from below the poverty line families. The maxim of ‘Each one, teach one” will prove very effective to achieve this goal.

Poverty is a condition in which human is deprived of basic needs not only of roti, kapdaa our makaan (food, clothing and shelter), but also, shiksha and chikitsa (education and medication). The most palpable effect of poverty is hunger which impinges on human mental and physical growth, causing undernourished skeletons. This situation will not arise in my India. Every child will be given proper food, shelter and education and jobs security will be given to his parents so that their children do not suffer in future.

India with the world’s best Government will also be one of my dreams. A government which is just not of the people but also by the people and honestly, for the people. Politicians should come out of their political web and approach the people of their areas to listen to their genuine grievances and remove them.

My India envisions politicians who work for the welfare of people through face to face contact instead of sitting in their air-conditioned room with a laptop and a mobile.

There will never be a generation of great men until there has been a generation of free women. Let us face it. For all the progress that is claimed to have been made in India, the fact remains that ours is a patriarchal society in which woman counts for very little. They should have active participation in decision-making both in domestic and political affairs. They should be treated at par with their male counterparts

India of my dreams is one where women are fully liberated, emancipated and content. Proper education with dignity would facilitate all women to face every challenge and make them independent to take decision about their marriage, rights and even about child birth.

Two-thirds of our population still earns a living from agriculture. With the application of new technologies, agriculture must be galvanised. Massive production in crops will help achieve a second “Green Revolution’ and definitely help to end the poverty in my India.

Industry is very important for the economy. We are abundantly enriched with mineral resources which are narnessed to boost manufacturing in my India. Gargantuan industrialisation will amplify production, economy and generate employment. India of my dream is such that we are in a position to give financial assistance to other countries instead of taking from them.

Secularism is what I really want to maintain in my India. Our Indian culture is famous for ‘unity in diversity’. For that we have to pool in all our efforts by removing the barricades among us of race, religion, caste and creed. We should remove all geographical, political, cultural and linguistic blockades and stand together for the cause of the well-being and prosperity of our nation. My India will be free from the curse of casteism and communalism because such detrimental tendencies spread faster than fire and cause irreparable damage to the social fabric of society and unity of the nation. The biggest religion is humanity and my India will favour this.

Reservation for SCs/STs/OBCs should definitely be there to enable them to join the national mainstream economically and socially, but we must ensure that poor people from higher castes as also from lower castes are the main beneficiaries of upliftment in my India. Reservation should be extended to include the economically marginalised section of society irrespective of their caste and community. The main spur is to place the right person in the right place according to his/her qualifications and talent, whatever caste he/she belongs to.

Youth is the best time to be rich, and the worst time to be poor also. Those who are young play a vital role in the development of nation. So, India of my dream is full with job opportunities for talented young persons so that they project themselves in a smooth manner. Employment with lucrative money and well established R&D (Research and Development) centres have been given to new emerging doctors, engineers and scientists so to check the brain drain. Instead of feeling tedious they will be encouraged to yield positive results.

Humanity is more at risk now because of latest developments in the field of nuclear technology and numerous terrorist organisations which are trying to capitalise on them. Terrorism for many years has spread to every part of the country. India of my dream will be free from the menace of terrorism. The naxalites and State-sponsored terrorists will be stamped out from the nation.

India is playing a major rote in maintaining global tranquility by detailing its army personnel to the UN Peacekeeping Force in different trouble spots of the world, which Is quite laudatory. India of my dreams is one which is strong enough to defend herself from any anarchist nation and give a jaw breaking fist also. Our army should be well-equipped with modern equipments and nuclear weapons so that nobody dare ever think to cast an evil glance on any part of our country.

India of my dreams will be a permanent member of the UN Security Council with ‘Veto Power’. Already many countries like UK. France and Russia have supported its claim. This is the time to seize the initiative and bring to the notice of the international community India’s achievements so that it can take right place in the emerging global power. India of my dreams will be a classless society, one without high or low class but with only one class the members of which will live in perfect harmony with one another. It will be full of prosperity, brotherhood, peace, love, care as well as fraternity.

It is pretty much easy to write but very hard to achieve all these. A vision gives a person a sense of guidance or something to achieve. A dream is the strength in one’s life, yet it will not control what one does. The mental process of a dream is all one needs to make it through each day. The dream of this India has to be attained and to achieve that we have to wake up to preserve the grand heritage of this great country—once the cradle of the world civilisation.
